Because I cannot resist today. I'm not fond of Gandi Baat as a song, first of all. I don't hate it, I don't love it, I don't really have much of an opinion on it. But I do SO love VruShan and the way they dance together. Tonight made me love them exponentially more. Honest. 😃
So first, Bollywood and VruShan make a lethal combination, this we always knew. But tonight's dance was just at a whole other level boss. Credit is due to the choreography, sab se pehle: Nimit Kotian, you are amazing. Period. And when it comes to execution, this number, we will probably all agree on this, seemed tailor-made for VruShan. LOL. Both of them were just on FIRE and I have to give Vrushika a special mention here. She matched Shantanu's energy as well as precision as well as expressions so amazingly! The steps weren't simple, and the energy was high from beginning to end. To have maintained that kind of energy throughout plus to be so into the song in terms of expressions and body language, only these two could have done it tonight, for me. They were just BANG ON. In fact I personally thought they surpassed themselves also this time. They set the mood so effortlessly with such an uninhibited, dil khol ke performance that I was won over from the word go.
Basically, I LOVED the Gandi Baat performance and I LOVE Shantanu Maheshwari and Vrushika Mehta for how brilliantly they danced it tonight. TOUCHWOOD for these two and the versatile dancers they are as well as for what an absolute treat it is to watch them together on stage. 😎
