Ruq is our angst now ... I am beginning to dislike her personality because she is so moody! If I am myself not comfortable with it, I wonder how Jalal can be comfortable with it!

I too feel the downfall of Ruqaiyya will begin now since her love for her own power and position is more important to her than Jalal's wishes or happiness .. She loves Jalal but with a condition that he will always b the Shehenshah for her .. she does not love the real person behind the Shehenshah image but only loves Jalal as Shehenshah ,... Precap is a clear indication of how Ruqaiyya will never ever compromise her position for Jalal's happiness and thats the basic difference between Jodha and Ruqaiyya .. Jodha can become a Begum of Agra as well as just a wife of a common man for Jalal's happiness but Ruqaiyya cannot do the same ... I guess Ruqaiyya too might realise that she cannot do what Jodha can do for Jalal and so she might herself step back and b content with just the title of Mallika-e-khaas without really expecting anything else 🤔

Hope she herself backs out of this race with Jodha! It will less of MU and disgusting scenes of catfights between the women!

Coming to the episode , it definitely laid the foundation for future since as far as I know Todarmal was one of the 9 jewels in Akbar's darbar later on , so now we know the reason why 🤔 .. Its because Jalal today comoes to know about how he helped his father in the past by safely taking all the Mughal begums to Humayun's darbar safely when Sher shah Suri had conquered the kingdom ... He was loyal to Suri but he was human enough not to misbegave with any of the begums , reason why he even got that spl gift from Humayun which he returned to Jalal yesterday with same amount of respect because Jalal today saved his life out of humanity 👍🏼 ...

Jyoti, I really liked the grace and dignity of this Todarmal (especially as compared to the mad and overacting Tansen!)

The whole episode was quite interesting from historical POV and I m glad Jalal tells it all to Jodha which again goes on to prove how both hv come a long way as husband-wife where he feels comfortable enough to tell everything about his childhood to Jodha without any second thoughts 😳

But no bare body hugs ...😭😭😭😭😭😭 why couldn't he start crying or something so that she can do a back hug?

Start of the episode was also quite romantic the way Jalal was flirting and teasing Jodha about hand holding .. it was such a hubby-wifey moment 😳 ... Its very important for a husband to make his wife feel comfortable in his presense first before he takes his relationship to the next level , something which Jalal dint realise that night but now he knows how to woo his wife slowly but steadily 😉😳😳

Awww ... he is deperate to know how she is feeling about him, and using every chance to try and get such words from her as he wants to hear! Awww!

My only disappointment was we dint get a hug in Jalal's bare body which we all expected 😔😆... I so wish CVs give us few hugs now even if its accidental .. its high time we get some physical intimacy between both 😳

Jyoti, we must be two of the most besharam viewers of this serial. Kya karen, our thoughts are going in a single direction only!

Waise, beautiful analysis Mansi... 🤗 Especially the following lines -

The two men seemed to find enormous respect for each other in that silent moment ... and I had goosebumps all over! What a fantastic moment that last bit of the whole scene was!

Mansi, The inculcation of the Todarmal a master-stroke by the CVs...after the well-thought-out Durg issue, this Todarmal-introduction (and all of the brief build-ups coupled by HB's parallel narration of Humayunnama) was splendid screenplay! Who would have thought Jalal would meet one of his 9 gems in such circumstances and learn about him so? It reminded me of the stuff of well-made historicals...

Yes the way the scenes were intercut to show this Todarmal and his significance from many different points of view was splendid. We have to give the Creatives credit for this one!

It was clearly a well-thought out track and not something the CVs churned up just for the sake of... It also showed that with the cute bits of Badal Kajri, there were some very important aspects Jalal came across via this Chisti trip (i.e. this was not just a pre-honeymoon holiday for the two disguised as a religious trip) - immensely sensible things have been shown too - the Jaziya tax and now Todarmal!

I loved the execution!

I recently heard that those 90 people who resigned have all now come back in small groups, so could it be that the better screenplay etc is because the original team is back?

Also, I love the current equation between Jodha and Jalal..they have the soft subtlety of Ram and Sita and the mischievous flirting of Krishna-Rukimini

I am distraught at the thought of them going back to Agra! 😭

P.S. I apologize for not highlighting the Ruqaiyya bits because I'm not going to get myself worked up about Ruqs lemme live this 24 hours to the fullest!
