Beautiful picture. If I remember correctly Humayun was driven off to Persia where he found refuge. It is there that he presented the Koh-i-noor to the Shah of Persia in exchange for military support.

Yes, the person who helped him was Persian. But I think he was running around every where and all the information if probably not noted LOL.

Um well from what I remember Humayun already had the Kohinoor since Babur had it-who got it from the Lodis' and Akbar never cared too much about it and never kept it close to him.
