PART TEN
This is based on 5 stones which keep popping up at various times and take different meaning by context.
Scene 1 A late night emergency meeting is in full swing in Hastinapur.
Duryodhan:
(Very upset. Growling) Pitashree, why are we so concerened over a stupid gift from that shepherd, Vaasudev? He has insulted Hastinapur by acting cheap.A box with 5 ordinary stones ? Not even precious diamonds. Huh. Is Dwarika that poor that they can not afford a proper gift ? Pitashree, I think we should behead the messanger for delivering such shameful gift.
Bheeshma: (Very Angry) Duryodhan, hold your tongue. You are talking of omnipresent, omniscient Govind.
Duryodhan:(Contemptuous) Huh, Grandsire.. No one becomes mighty by killing old, rheumatic uncle. Infact I heard that his brother did all the killing and he took the credit.
Bheeshma: Maharaj, lets ignore this fool and find the meaning of this gift.
Krip: I think, the meaning is very clear. He is simply reminding us of Mahaabhutas, basic five elements, building blocks of universe.
Dhrit: (Hopeful) You mean, he wants to assure us that Kunti's sons will soon return to Mahaabhutas ? I always knew, we can count on Krishna.
Krip:(Little confused) Err. I dont think so.
Dhrit: (Smiling brightly) Oh.. Or may be.. does he want me to marry and take on another 5 wives ? I do remember,last time, he commented on how unhappy and lonely I am and hinted that change is required. I will definitely give it a thought for my dear Krishna.
Gandhari:(Exploding) AARYA.. May be Vaasudev meant five stinging lashes on the back of a person entertaining such thoughts.
Dhrit:
(Moving away from Gandhari.. Stammering) My charming queen, you know how much I love you. But dear, he did hint at the change subtly.
Bheeshma: Putra, he was referring to the change in leadership in Hastinapur. So you can step down to make way for dear Yudhisthir.
Duryodhan:(Growling) Pitashree enough of this non-sense. These 5 stones clearly mean 5 pandavas. The crafty, audacious Govind is daring me to name any 5 brothers of mine who can take on powerful Pandavas. Vaasudev forgets we are 100 and not mere 5 and I have no dearth of options. Let me see. We have I, Dusshasan... (
awkward silence follows as Duryodhan tries hard to recollect others..)
Krip:
(Approvingly) Dont forget Vikarna, Yuyutsu. Very righteous kids indeed.
Duryodhan:(Upset) Those two are idiots always siding along with Pandavas. Anyway let me count again. I have me, Dusshasan and ...
(looking helplessly at others to help him out and everyone avoids his gaze.) Pitashree, why dont you help me naming few mighty brothers of mine.
Dhrit:(embarassed for putting on a spot.. after a long pause) Dear Putra. I think those 5 stones mean something else. What do you think Vidur ? Why are you quiet ?
Vidur:(Choked with emotions) Maharaj, This message is clearly meant for me. I am overwhelmed with Govind's grace.
Some time back, I sent a small white rodent to Yudhisthir at Varnavart, which cost me 5 silver coins.I forgot to expense it back to Hastinapur. These 5 stones are a reminder to reclaim my 5 silver coins.
Hey Govind.. I bow to you. You take great care of your devotees. Maharaj, please approve my expense.
Dhrit:(not too happy with losing 5 coins) Err.. Vidur, FIVE SILVERS?? Was it some fancy rodent? We are running out of cash. The half of our treasury money goes towards payout of royal barbers and sculptors of my sons. May be Hastinapur will buy a cheap, healthy rodent for you.
The messanger who delivered the gift rushes in.
Messanger:(Shamefacedly) Maharaj Dhritrashtra, please accept my humble, earnest apologies. I got mixed up with my boxes. I was asked to hand over this box, containing a royal invitation for your august attendance at the wedding in Kampilya.
Instead, I gave you my son's birth-day present by mistake.The whole of Panchal is crazy about these blue stones, you see.
Scene 2
Draupadi:Keshav, do you think it is Dharma to marry five Pandavas ?
Krishna:It is definitely Adharma. No woman should be allowed to suffer like you.
Draupadi:Madhusudan, So you are asking me to do Adharma ?
Krishna:Shyaamala, your thinking is noble. You are thinking for entire nation. How can it be Adharma ?
Draupadi:Govind, I am so relieved. Its Dharma after all.
Krishna:A woman subjugated in male dominant society like this.. Jara Sochiye.. Is it Dharma ?
Draupadi:Gudakesh, so final verdict is Adharma right ?
Krishna:Beautiful princess, you are an extraordinary, courageous woman. You and Pandavas are pillars of Dharma. You are epitome of Dharma. How can you ever do Adharma ?
Draupadi:(Now really annoyed)Muraari, so if I marry 5 then its Dharma but if someone else does the same its Adharma, right ?I beg of you. Answer only yes or no.
Krishna:Dharma is same for everyone. Any act of Adharma for sake of upholding Dharma can not be justified. Jara Sochiye.
Draupadi:Something tells me, you will not strictly follow what you just said. But I am too tired to think. I am also exhausted of all your popular names. But now I know, why people call you names. I just want simple answer, nothing else.
Krishna:We cant continue with this conversation. You should not ask more than 5 questions and should not ask more than 2 favors. The latter knowledge will come very handy in future by the way.
Draupadi: Wait. This is new one. Why cant I ask more than 5 questions ?
Krishna only smiles and points to the stones.
Draupadi:Oh. So hidden meaning of these 5 stones is that I can not ask more than 5 questions ?
Krishna has a divine encouraging smile. Draupadi prods on..
Draupadi: And also they mean I should marry 5 Pandavas and uphold 5 pillars of Dharma. Right Keshav ? Krishna is still not saying anything. His smile is now as wide as Anushka Sharma.Draupadi:My head is reeling. Give me a minute to think straight..
Krishna: Take 5 minutes.
Draupadi:Is that also indicated by... Never mind.

Dan Brown of Da Vinci Code recently visited StarBharat set for his new book. He is rearching recurrent , adaptive theme of mysterious 5 stones which he thinks is more ubiquitous than Golden Ratio.
Meanwhile, BJP has claimed that 5 stones of StarKrishna refer to 5 petal lotus, symbol of BJP, while congress has asserted that those metaphorically point to the party symbol of hand with 5 fingers and have asked voters to make congress victorious.
