now that ruku is there will jalal be forced to ignore jodha...also i think ruku will def join then as a commoner but after a lot of complaint and even after joining then she might complain through out their journey...this ruku meeting akdha when they r like commoners cannot be done just for fun,there has to be a reason and i am guessing it is to show the difference between ruku and jodha to jalal.

What a nice episode today and a great way to celebrate Jodha Akbar becoming the number 1 show. I always find Salim Chisti to be a calming personality- I like the way he talks and it always leaves a pleasant smile in his face- so an apt ending to the episode before I had to see Ruqs. 😉

So, here is my top 5 moments of the day:

(1) The beginning nok jhok: What a scene with teda Jalal trying to get Jodha out of her shell. It was a sweet scene where they had some nok jhok on the fire and Jalal made Jodha conscious about her holding his hand and how she liked it. This reminded me of the scene in the fake pregnancy track where he tells her that he didn't do anything against her wishes and she liked his touch. He is trying to get her out of her guarded shell and highlight how she is comfortable with their physical proximity. Go teda Jalal!

This was very cute. I always love this TE. It was so cute of Jodha to hold his hand and sit next to him. Very cute scene. Also, Jalal is very caring person. He genuinely was worried about Jodha hence was collecting sticks so that she doesnt catch cold.

(2) Jalal in action: As many of you (as well as I) wanted to see, it was great to see Jalal in action- what a leap that was when he said the battle is not over yet. I am not an expert in how battle scenes are shot- but it looked quite good. And more happily, this shows that Rajat has hopefully recovered from his foot injury.

OMG... we all have waited for such a long time. CV's please give these scene more.. But just one complain.. the camera person hasnt shot this well.. it was too shaky

(3) Bonding over pain: I always felt Jodha rarely emphasized with Jalal's pain except for when he was hurt over Bakshi Bano's betrayal. She never enquires why he was hurt, angry, or hard- hearted. I liked today how she felt his pain in two ways: the physical pain of the wound on his back and how she also gasped at his pain and how she recognized he was in pain since he heard Suri's name. It shows that the emotional connect between her and Jalal which is a great step in their relationship.

This is what i wanted from the trip. to understand each other and thanks for taking it forward in that direction. Another thing i liked here is, when todarmal's wife is praying, Jodha will sign from her eyes for Jalal to help.. it was very cute...

(4) Introduction of Todar Mal: I liked the intro of Todar Mal. A very level-headed and intelligent guy. He very tactfully showed Jalal how he had never hurt Humayan and returned a momento of Humayan to his son. I think he also quietened Jalal's raw vengefulness which at times makes him more ruthless. Agra ke pagalkhana definitely needs a guy like him and can't wait for him to show up!

I hated Tansen(well he will have to come back and i still hate him). He was supposed to be such a good singer, but his songs were like please stop. Thank god, Todermal is good. He was calm, clever, caring and very good at heart. Hope to see him soon in Agra.

(5) Salim Chisti: Loved the words of Salim Chisti; as always, they had a soothing effect. When he praised Jalal for coming in as a common man and highlighted his greatness as a king, I loved the pride on Jodha's face.While I found what he said to be similar to what he said when Jalal-Jodha got married: they will write history; the sultanate will get its waaris ... There was something more definitive when he said that Jodha will the MUZ. And icing on the cake, did I see Jalal have a slight smile come in his face that all his dreams were going to come true - he must be thinking of all the things that must imply as did we 😉

I liked the way Jodha was seeing Jalal each time and when they entered Jalal teaching her, Very nice. MUZ - i am waiting for tomorrow's episode. Not sure what he will say Jodha once they moce away from Salim chisit... I hope he pulls her leg again.

For a change, the precap is bumped out of the list. I am glad Ruqs met them after they met Salim Chisti as she would have ruined the peacefulness of the scene. I hope we get some one-on-one Akdha scenes reflecting on what Salim Chisti said prior to the arrival of Ruqs. I feel CVs did not want to give the special scene of the day in the precap and so they showed Ruqs who may show up later in the episode.

I wonder if Ruq will get to know that SC told jodha will be MUZ

Hope Ruq doesnt insult jo yaar... enough of it.. cant take more. And this time if it happens, I want our Teeki mirchi to give back properly.

I see one of two scenarios from the precap:

(1) Ruqs joins them in common libaas and proves what an uncaring wife she is in comparison to Jodha

(2) Ruqs refuses to join them- while I am rooting for this, this is unlikely

Anyways, we had 1 week of Akdha after close to 2 mths of pain ... Not a bad ratio when it comes to serial land.

Need to console ourself..

Hopefully, we will still get doses of Akdha among Ruqs screeching 😊
