Nafisa, in the previous banner contest, several characters had not appeared for some time before the contest hit its stride, and others left. But that banner stayed in place.
The heroine track came and went, and not even one of its characters got on the banner throughout the duration. So this is comparatively much more acceptable.
And leads remain in the banner throughout.
RK and Madhu were the leads for the entire series so far.
This is not a separate season and story, as the DT clarified. If a new pairing happens, it can go in the next banner in addition to RK-Madhu.
The new Madhu is the daughter of RK and Madhu. There is no reason for them to not be in the banner.
To reduce the duration of the upcoming banner for new characters would make it meaningless that the current banner remained for so long, even when we knew several of the characters were no more a part of the series.
And if the series lasts, the new characters can be part of the next banner contest.
Most importantly, DD is the face of the previous Madhu and Jr. Madhu.
And she is there. As for the look, we have no idea, the CVs may give JR. Madhu the same look as Sr. Madhu in the upcoming episodes.
Any other characters in the leap being there or not is not as important when they have just been in the series for a few days or have not even been introduced yet. If they last a few months, they will get into the next banner.
Hurrying now would be like having put Madhu and Mukund into the banner as soon as Mukund and his family appeared. And what CVs say can change with time.
