Saanchi isnt a bad person, she has a judgement problem, she cant judge in her fury that whats wrong for her. So no, she doesnt deserve all this.

Michelle, Sanchi DOES NOT deserve it and she has all my sympathy. I'm appalled at what I'm reading.

There was a time when there were BV characters with shades of grey. After all, in real-life people are not either black or white. The creators have made Sanchi into a caricature of a "modern" girl, which, IMO, is lazy writing. Whatever, caricature villain or not, she in no way deserves this.

If Sanchi implicated Jagya in a false case, she deserved to be prosecuted and sent to jail. It in no way makes it somehow okay for her to be raped.

Reading the tone of some posts, I'm feeling like some people read only the poll title and not my post!

I'm also of the opinion that S DID NOT DESERVE THIS!

I'm glad to see that almost everyone agrees with me yet it hurts that even 2 people think otherwise.

Michelle, my outrage is for some posts I read elsewhere debating this issue. I agree with your post completely.

This issue is definately thought provoking I'm glad cv's are exploring the date rape drug scenario, if anything it alerts woman to this element of danger, here in the uk I always remembered that message about when going out to buy or get your own drinks and even if you leave your drink don't go back and drink it just get a fresh one as you don't know what's happened to it while your away. Cv's are giving the message to be alert about what's happening around you.

I do not think Sanchi deserved this, but CVs have not taken up this track sensibly. Date rape drugs issue could have been more thought provoking if the girl was not as bad as Sanchi- everybody knows what she thinks and what has she done till now. By using this track on Sanchi - they seem to be giving a message that such things will happen to the girls who are 'bad' who go to parties and drink there. Such drugs can easily be mixed in cold drinks and even a 'good' girl can be a victim. But in serials, everything is black and white. It appears that the 'good' girls cannot be shown to be a rape vicim
