I'll tell you, we women are own worst enemies. Why does chachi expect paro to pick up Rudra's shoes? Why? because she is his fiancee and she has to do it to prove her worthiness as a to be wife and daughter in law?

Thank god Rudra isnt shown to be the misogynistic PIG that most Indian TV men are shown to be.

P.S- Paro should have refused, disappointed that she hesitantly agreed to do it.

P.P.S- I don't find anything wrong with someone moving shoes out of their own will. Its the force and pressure tactics I have a problem with.

I agree women are each other's own enemy! Seriously! Sometimes I feel the women that pressure other women to do stuf like this, have been a victim themself, reality whys. As for chachi have no idea why she is like dis

For Mohini chachi,it is to prove that she is the boss and everyone in the house should listen to her.
she suspects Paro and want to convince herself that she is not what she claims to be-rudra's fiance.
so she is putting her to the test agnipareeksha😉😉

Good that R said no.

then Mohini got upset, since noone in the family disobeyed her at any cost,so the only asthra that she had used on him---his mother...

For Rudra---paro is noone to him,so legally or otherwise, she does not have any right to touch his shoes.that is why he said no

For Paro, uncertain future, volatile household, she is hesitant ,ususre of what to do,in the end does as the mistress of the house says...

That's exactly what she's trying to do... get a reaction out of Paro. But then, I hated EVERYTHING starting from the serving tea to the"joote uthaane aur joote khaane se he patni ka pyaar pata chalta hai".
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! 😡 That should have been the limit for any self respecting girl. Even if she would have stood there and done nothing at all, Paro, I mean, that would have been enough. Why did she have to go to do it at all? Even in hesitation? (Okay, I know refusing would be impermissible and disrespectful and all that dhamaal for a village belle, especially when confronted with Masala Masi, but still yaar... not cool!)

But you know, in that on-location video I had heard Mohini say that she too, picks Chacha's shoes. I think they edited that because no one would really believe her. I think it's the other way round: Chacha is the shoe picker 😆

Yes! Thank you for making this post! This scene was bothering me since yesterday when they showed it in the precap! I think its regressive television at its best! The writers made a conscious choice to show a certain thing, paint a certain picture! Its sad! As far as, it being considered a realistic portrayal of things in Rajasthan, I'd say, if so many unrealistic things are shown on a daily basis in these shows, is leaving out something that's not necessary to the plot & asks to be criticized so difficult! Maasi/Chaachi could've proved her point, differently! A woman who is not domestically inclined can be a great partner! The two are, practically unrelated! Are the writers saying that's not the case?
