Santhi- re-posting on your thread - it fits in here. 😊

Am puzzled by the sudden spurts and dips in quality of writing recently.
On the shaadi day and the day after we were on Cloud 9, and then thud, dropped from a great height.

Even within the factory scene, it was proceeding well until the knock-knock... Wonder what's the secret? It's not that they can't do good stuff, there's something else here...

Writer has split-personality?
Writer is multi-tasking and runs out of time?
Writer has personal issues distracting him?

😆

Santhi, it's a writers prerogative how they want the scene to go, the lighthearted way or the intense way. As long as there is flow and harmony, both ways can work well.

Last night it started out intense romantic way and then suddenly switched to light hearted, that was where the connection broke for me.

Somehow, I couldn't see that Kumud was very hesitant and needed Saras to back off, because actually I felt that Saras was romantic but not overpowering and Kumud was happy and elated, just a teeny nervous, but not afraid of where it was going.

So that's why the change of track was a bit jarring.

So it was the disconnect that bothered me.

Anyway, I hope Monday will be more coherent.

When I look back, I think OSJ nailed it when she said, it was sudden. There was no proper build up for the scene. Looked too abrupt.

Kumud did look Lil nervous. But the disconnect was there because the way it was brought about.

But the act itself was not bad at all. They were themselves scripting a cute take on their relationship. I think I saw some scenes like these in movies where they do this to get closer. The way kumud was smiling at saras on her shoulder the end of the act was sweet.

I see the point you are trying to make. But on the whole I liked the episode. Like when saras says 'pitaayi hogi' to danny's advice of locking the door. There was change in his body language to shyness. And kumud responded well with her helpless smiles.

I think so too, the transition from carrying her to the bed to knock knock was not smooth at all.

I guess that was the problem.

Sorry for not responding earlier Santhi...a little under the weather...
i liked the episode it wasnt a10/10 but abhi raat baki aur baat baki hai ...so would like to see how they move forward with the whole scene... right from the last farewell at the factory pre first marriage proporsal when saras was leavin for dubai ..kumud has been shown as a strong girl but also someone who has not been strong when it comes to culmination of their love ...she has been shown to hav this constant fear about their union always...she needs to be assured by saras/ dukba ...during the ganesh puja the flickering diya made her fears resurface only when the panditji assured her..she smiled...yesterday the dark vyas villa, then the burnt sejh had her instinctively become apprehensive about their life ahead...now the role play was maybe saras' way forward just so her frazzled nerves were soothed n his bride forgot all about what had happened earlier... the only saras way forward to the most beautiful night of their life...😊

psst ..its not like they havent done it before ...maybe this time he wants to take it slow😉

Anu ji,
Thank you and glad you replied. You said it all. And you explained Kumud's state of mind so well. Role play was maybe Saras's way forward. I thought so too. It worked. That's why when he landed on her shoulder, she was grinning too much at his pagalpan and his stupid child-like smile.
Saw on location videos. So on Monday this whole SR might be wound up fast and plot moves to the kitchen. Or maybe tuesday. Lets see.
