RECAP : Taani drops a drunk Rey at his house. Swayam comes to know that Taani is Tanisha. Taani's misunderstandings regarding Rey gets cleared. ( Most of the reader's confusions also got cleared I hope 😉)
CHAPTER 8
D3 GANG WELCOMES TAANI, OFFICIAL K-R BREAKUP
Taani is excited as well as nervous. She is unable to express her feelings for Rey in words.
T : Bhai aap college ke liye nikal jao. Mujhe ready hone me time lagega.
Sw : (thinks : Pata nahi aur kaun si baat isne mujhe ab tak nahi batayi hai.) Its ok Taani. Main wait kar lunga.
T : (thinks : Agar bhai ke saath gayi to Rey ko impress kaise karungi?) Nahi Bhai. Aap chale jaiye main apne aa jaungi.
Sw : (thinking about the note and parcel, protective bhai kicks in) Taani kisi ladke ka to chakkar nahi hai na?
T : (hands Swayam his car keys and pushes him towards the door) Aap bhi kya baatein le ke baith gaye... (closing the door) See you in college.
Sw : Lekin Taani...(the door slams on his face) ... mujhe bhaga kyu rahi hai? (was about to ring the doorbell when he sees REY CALLING) Ab isse kya hua? (picks up the call) Haan Rey bol...
R : Tu mujhe RH me mil. Urgent hai.
Sw : Hold on. Tu thik to hai? Kahin Sharon...
R : (cuts in between) teri Sharon ko bhi bulaya hai. Mil ke tumhe batata hu.
Hearing this Swayam leaves for the college. Our Taani is busy deciding what to wear .
T : Indian pehnu ya Western? Pink ki black? (thinks about Rey) Rey ko main jaisi hu waise hi pasand hu. St. Louis gear up to welcome Tan... (smiles and picks up an outfit which suits her personality) Sorry Sharon... But aaj se St. Louis me 2 diva hongi...
TAANI'S OUTFIT

In St. Louis college
A red Ferrari stopped in front of the college and a petite figure got down from the driver' s seat. All the boys stood staring with their mouths hanging open while the girls were burning with jealousy.
TAANI'S FERRARI
Girl : (to the girl beside her) Pinch me na. Kal ki bookworm aaj Diva jaise dikh rahi hai.
T : (she pinches the girl as she was about to cross them) You know sweetheart variety adds spice to our life. (She was about to enter the college when she notices that she had everyone's attention. With a smile playing on her lips she went to the nearest guy) Munh to band kar lo warna makhi ghus jayegi! (and leaves from there to go to the canteen)
In the canteen, D3 gang (except ShaReYam) were having fun when they notice Taani enter.
V : Sharon kafi different nahi lag rahi hai?
Nil : Abey different to lagegi hi na coz wo Sharon hai hi nahi.
Simmi : If I am not wrong then wo Taani hai.
Rinni : Kaun Taani?
Am : Aley... wo Swayam ki behen ...
V : But wo to bookish hai na... and ye to sizzling hot hai...
T : (she had reached the gang and had heard Vicky) ... sizzling hot to Tanisha bhi thi...
Gang : Kaun Tanisha?
K : (coming towards the gang) Tanisha... jisne Rey ko face-off me haraya tha... Zara mai bhi to dekhu aisa kya hai khas hai tum me Tanisha !
Bh : Abey ye kya locha hai? Tu Tanisha hai...
Nil : Matlab ki Taani hi Tanisha hai...
All look at each other with blank expressions and then start laughing (except Kriya)
K : Ohhh... to tum hi ho Tanisha.
T : Yes. Any doubt?
Gang : Doubt hi doubt hai...
V : Agar tum hi Tanisha ho to prove karo... Dance kar ke dikhao...
Kriya : (grinning) Come on... Prove them...
T : (smiles) Sure... (takes out her cell and plays a song)
Do you ever feel (points towards Vicky)
Like a plastic bag
Drifting through the wind (forming waves with her hands)
Wanting to start again
Do you ever feel (points towards Neha)
Feel so paper-thin
Like a house of cards (spins with her fingers joining forming an inverted V shape)
One blow from caving in (gently pushes Neha on Vicky)
Do you ever feel (points towards Amar)
Already buried deep
Six feet under (taking the tray full of plates from his hand)
Screams but no one seems to hear a thing
Do you know that there's (stands behind Bharat)
Still a chance for you (points towards Aashi and winks)

Just own the night (rotates around Simmi with her hands raised in the air)

As you shoot across the sky
Baby, you're a firework ( goes and stands on the table)
Come on let your colors burst (asks the gang to join her)
Make them go, "Oh, oh, oh"(points towards Kriya)
You're gonna leave before they know (jumps and lands gracefully in front of Kriya)
And the entire gang started applauding except Kriya. They were hugging Taani and welcoming her in their gang.
K : (was glaring at Taani when she noticed Rey entering along with SwaRon) REY... (runs towards him and hugs him) Rey aap believe nahi karoge but Taani hi Tanisha hai...
R : (gently pushing Kriya aside) WHAT?
V : Swayam tumne bataya nahi tha ki teri behen itni mast dancer hai...
Sh : (giving Swayam a deadly glance) Tumhe Taani ke bare me pata tha?
Sw : Haan...
ShaRey : Tumne hum se itni badi baat chupayi kaise?
Sw : (giving a shrug) To mujhe bhi to aaj hi pata chala !
R : (moving forward towards Taani) Isse pehen ke dikhao... (and takes out her mask from his back pocket) ...Tumhara hi hai na?
T : (slowly whispers in his ear) To kal tumhare paas reh gaya tha... (gives him one of killer smiles and wears the mask)
Sw : (coming in between Taani and Rey) 1 minute! Ye mask tumhare paas kaise aaya Rey? (looks at Taani) Kahin subah me wo parcel Rey ne to nahi...
T : NAHI BHAI!!!
R : Kaun sa parcel? (unable to face Taani remembering whatever had happened in the pub)
Sw : Kuch nahi Rey.
Sh : So Rey your problem's solved... Tum Tanisha ko khoj rahe the and here she is!!!
Nil : But tu Tanisha... I mean Taani ko khoj kyu raha tha?
R : Wo main... wo... (thinks : Yaar Swayam ke samne kaise bolu ki main uski behen se pyaar karta hu kar ke usse dhund raha tha)
K : (thinks : Isse pehle ki Rey Taani ek ho jaye mujhe hi kuch karna padega) ...Aap kitna pyaar karte mujhse ki aap ne mere 1 baar kehne pe Tanisha ke bare me pata lagane lag gaye. (and kisses him on his cheek)
Girls (except Taani who was feeling as if her entire world was crashing in front of her) : Aawww
Boys : Yucks!!!!
T : Guys I have to go... (and rushes from there with tears in her eyes)R : (pushing Kriya) Why the Hell don't you understand that I don't love you... (looks at the gang) ... Guys mere aur kriya ke bich kuch nahi hai... (looking at Kriya) I AM BREAKING UP WITH YOU... AGAIN!!! (and leaves in the direction Taani had gone)
K : (shouts) Fine Rey... Even I am leaving! (thinks : Abhi jaa rahi hu but jaldi hi wapas aaungi...)
