A episode that had was emotional and mellow
A little slow after the frenzy of the wedding episode that we have had so far
But an episode which was gentle yet strong
It was cruel yet kind
It also raked up old wounds yet healed them
And it was all about love, relationships, eternal bonds and forgiveness
An episode that was about homecoming
Of Saras
Who now has a home with
A father, a wife, a brother, sister in law, extended family
The star of the day for me were the writers today
The way Kumud showed to LN the desperate need of Danny to marry Kusum
And asked him to choose - his sons happiness or his wounded pride?
Brilliant !!!!!
Kumud and Saras conversation -
What does it mean to be a father - he won't say that he loves you,
you will have to hear these words
without his saying so.
How people make mistakes, and their near ones suffer - Saras made a mistake to
call off the wedding
and Kumud suffered, Kumud made the
mistake of marrying pramaad and
they both suffered,
Why they need to forgive - if life has given them a second chance inspite of grave mistakes,
LN too deserves a chance
How Saras has to make a choice - the loneliness that still lives within him or
the family that is beside him,
and he so beautifully rises to the occasion -
he still has issues to deal with,
but once again he will not allow his miseries to ruin the
most important day of his life.
Today he chose Kumud and his happiness, and we got a hug as if his life depended on it!
Kumud to LN - till my husband forgives you,
I will not be able to take your blessings as a daughter in law
Bidai was sweet and emotional and touching.
The two brides are now going into their new homes to a new life
So an episode that has to watched in peace and savoured. A trifle slow paced, but some very
meaningful and great dialogues and
The writers - 10/10 - after a long time they delivered,
And then if you have emotional and well written lines,
And give them to Gautam and Jennifer
