Speculation had been rife about Deepika Padukone starring in the Salman Khan starrer to be helmed by Sooraj Barjatya. Then came the news that the actress has opted out of the project citing date issues. The director has approached several heroines for his project, but the buzz now is that Priyanka Chopra and Sonam Kapoor are strong contenders for the yet to be titled project.
Confirms an official spokesperson of Rajshri Productions, "At the moment, Barjatyaji is in talks with several heroines like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor. We have to take into consideration several factors including availability of dates before finalising anything. We will finalise the heroine by next week for sure." He also refuted rumours about the film being titled Bade Bhaiyya. "We had never even considered such a title. I do not know from where this has cropped up," said the spokesperson.
