Super Hit: Sonam Kapoor
Sonam spells magic in this white Abu-Sandeep mirror work saree. We give her 10 on 10 for carrying off this heavily embellished creation with much grace and poise. The high-neck blouse pattern, her hairdo and natural make-up with no accessories, did wonders for her look. The cylindrical silver clutch was an add on.
We're a fan, Sonam!Hit: Deepika Padukone
Jade is gradually making inroads into Bollywood's most high profile wardrobes with the likes of Madhuri Dixit and Deepika Padukone preferring it over the other big brands in ethnic wear.
Words can hardly describe how gorgeous DP looks in this pastel shade of peach in multiple hues. We think she'd make the most beautiful Indian bride when she ties the knot.
She just kills it with the coral pout, a slice of bindi and gold jhumkis.
Miss: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Much to our relief, the Bachchan bahu finally ditched her trademark Abu-Sandeep anarkalis for this pink Nachiket Barve suit. The change was welcome, but wasn't it a little ordinary for the 'Fourth Most Beautiful Woman in the World'?
Hit: Hema Malini
Miss: Esha and Ahana Deol
Hema's Kanjivaram silk drape was lovely, but we're not sure we like either of the two multi-colored lehengas the Deol sisters are wearing. The bridal glow is what saved the adorable dulhan at the mehendi ceremony.
Sorry love, but the green velvet blouse did nothing for you!
Hit: Esha Deol
The former 'Dhoom' girl did a great job at matching her arm sling with the gorgeous elaborate lehenga. Gold jewellery with stone work accentuated her ethnic look.
Miss: Ahana Deol
Though we hate to pick holes in this pretty bride's style, Ahana's wedding trousseau just didn't give us the 'bridal feel'.
Not only were they old fashioned, they were also too ordinary for the bride to wear at her sangeet and wedding reception. What do you think?
Total Miss: Esha Deol
We haven't seen such an unflattering gown in a very long time. This coral one-shoulder gown neither did justice to Esha's celebrity image, nor to her 'bride's sister' status.
Those diamonds all over the place, her jewellery and aunty-like hairdo were a sheer disappointment.
Hit: Hema Malini
Though the bride and her sister disappointed us with their ethnic choices, the mother seems to have gotten it right.
Hema Malini is among the most gorgeous women of her age and she justified her image with her choice of sarees. There was a perfect mix of traditional Kanjivaram silks, and modern fabrics like chiffon and georgettes in her trousseau for daughter's wedding.
Okay: Sonakshi Sinha
Other than silk, net is the most 'in' thing for the wedding season. Sonakshi looked lovely in a blue drape. Her kundan and moti jewellery was a perfect match.
