heey guys! random post but i really wanted to share my view with people.

I think it's a wonderful thought about how finally ONE show -Beintehaa is premoting cousin marriage. I've seen heaps of shows that says 'oh we're doing something completely different.. it's a different love story, blah-blah' but my point is that i dont think ANY show has every tried portraying cousin marriage as a theme. I think that by our amazing shows beintehaa is showing this is very unique. In the now-a-days society people don;t usually like having cousin marriages as they think it'll go wrong and then they're cousin bond and family problems would occur. But in my point cousin marriage is a very beautfiul thing that makes an 'already-made' relation even more stronger. And with Beintehaa finally showing this makes us understand the relationship we actually share with our cousin.
This is just my view and showing how BEINTEHAA acually has a very unique story 😛PLEASE SHARE YOUR VIEWS TOO GUYS! 😊

Didn't really want this to be an essay but oops writing too much essays lately😳

Actually cousin marriages are allowed in muslim families...so they showed it. Even in Qubool hai cousin marriage was shown between Ayaan and Humaira.
But it's not allowed in Hindu families...that's why it can't be shown in Hindu-based shows.

It's allowed in Hindu families. One can marry one's dad's sister's kids or mom's brother's kids. In South India, in the past, a girl would be married to her youngest maternal uncle if the age gap was not too significant.

Now after medicine has highlighted the complications of consanguineous marriages, these practices have reduced in urban parts.

A friend of mine is married to her cousin from Pakistan. He's jer dads sisters son and I don't see enjoying wrong in it if people are happy. Agreed there can be some complications if they wanna have kids but it's not the same with everyone.
