I am very disappointed with the story writers of PAVITRA RISHTA...why always they show female related to leads as weak🤢🤢 there was no need to keep that track of Mansy😡😡... when I saw the precap that time only I was worried about this but I thought PAVIRA RISHTA writers can't do that so was watching yesterday's episode but my hopes were all shattered🤢🤢...
and I am disappointed with Ankita also she could not even make out what happened with her sister and being a lead role we expect that she would rescue her little sister but "NO"😡 the directors are very much impressed to show that track only so that they can prolong the story ...they must have taken some other issue for the progress of the story...I am really very very very disappointed with this track of MANSY😡...

Though I am not a regular visitor of this forum but after yesterday's episode I am totally angry with the story line...

in every EK's serial.. definitely there is a molestation or eve teasing...
such scenes are encouraged to increase the TRPs..
but they dont realise by doing so, they are provoking men who see physical dominence over women as their strength and proof of mardaangi.

Well, I think it's important to see the reason why this twist was used for Mansi's character. The reality is, rape happens EVERYDAY in India and elsewhere in the world & the truth of the matter is men believe they have the upper hand when it comes to women, so they defile them and blackmail them into a space where they are left helpless and believe themselves to be worth no character or value any longer. I do not know where this track is going in terms of Mansi being raped, however right now I find it to be VERY realistic. Coming from a mother who was raped and hearing her story, whatever they are showing is plainly and simply the truth. I hope that they take Mansi's character and take it from being weak at the moment to strong and confronting her rapist, however looking at all of the forums I find it very disheartening to see so many people posting of how disappointed they are with Mansi's character. I find that it just proves the archaic and old fashioned view that if a woman is raped and taken advantaged of they're already a "disappointment" and "no longer pure and appealing". I find that given the Indian culture which nowadays seems to condone raping, it is extremely important to show scenarios like this to get women talking to their daughters, father's educating their daughters to protect themselves, etc. I honestly don't see why Indian dramas WOULDN'T include these scenarios when it seems that our culture is in most need of this education given the acceptance we give to raping and allowing the men in our culture to think they are entitled to acts such as this.

Currently I am not disappointed with Mansi's character. Because of course what happened to her is disheartening and of course she probably just wants to hide from the world. So yes, its realistic how they are showing her reaction.

What I would be more than just disappointed with, is if they show her letting it ruin her life completely. Her current emotions are by no means that of someone weak, its realistic. The immediate emotions after, yes, what Mansi depicted, there was NOTHING wrong with that. However if she continues to think she is ruined, then that would disappoint me.
She needs to be shown taking a stand. Yes rape can ruin the lives of many women, but what Indian women need to see is that they should not let it ruin their lives. Mansi needs to move on and be strong, they should not depict her continuing to think her life is ruined. That would be just disheartening and not a proper lesson to show.

Its not just shows.

We teach our sons that their sisters and other girls are inferior in some way.

When anybody is teaching a boy to play any type of sport and he's not throwing the ball well... Everyone says "u throw like a ... Girl". Its basically teaching our sons that being a girl in inferior and they shouldn't throw like a girl b/c its not the best or good enough. That little boy whose just learning how to play a sport is also learning that he's better than a girl also.

That is where it begin. We put it in their heads from such a young age with such socialization.

We tell our daughters to carry pepper spray in their bag and save it for marriage. We tell our sons to make sure he uses a condom.

We as a society ARE the problem. And its not just Indian society but all men-dominated societies.

I disagree with indian shows showing rape b/c often in indian shows they'll marry the rapist to the victim. What message does this send out? If you want a girl but she refuses, rape her and then everyone will get her married to you and u can have her forever. Its sickening.
