But now they have finally decided to quit the show in February.
Participants of Nach Baliye 6
These days the couple has been busy with Nach Baliye and are being touted as one of the strong contenders for the upcoming finale. The TV actor Rithvik Dhanjani, who's previously been seen in "Bandini", "Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani", is currently participating in the show with his girlfriend Asha Negi.
Huge support from Audience
The two have received humungous support from audience in Nach Baliye 6. Rithvik said, "Popularity matters a lot as at the end of the day the love of your audiences can make you win."
Rithvik says "given everything to the show"
As the finale is approaching, the two are busy in practices and were recently found saying that the two have "given everything to the show".
Explaining the same, he said, "At times we have given up sleep but made sure we gave our best to our performances. Keeping all that in mind, I think we have done the best we could and I really believe in our fans. I believe they are willing to be with us and can make us win."
Rithvik and Asha shared emotional moment in Nach Baliye 6
Rithvik and Asha shared an emotional moment on stage when Rithvik proposed her on the show. According to Rithvik, this moment was special for him. He said, "It took a little more time than the performance but that doesn't mean that it overshadowed the performance. It was a special moment for us, our fans as well as for the channel."
Criticisms handled Sportingly
The two are stars on small screen but they have been hearing some strong criticisms from the judges-actress Shilpa Shetty, choreographer Terence Lewis and filmmaker Sajid Khan-on the show. But the two have taken those criticisms doled out to them in a sporting spirit.
Speaking about the same, Rithvik said, "It wasn't really tough and its something one has to adapt to. Judges have their own point of view and we have to respect them for that. Rather than feeling bad, we respect our judges and their opinions."
