Apart from the fact that it's so wrong to bring such violence into loving relationships - whatever for? She's only doing what she thinks is the best for him - right or wrong. People are so extreme 😵

The WHY of it also beyond my comprehension, but I believe it is to cure Saachi of her 'arrogance' in calling off the relationship, to 'teach her a lesson' and in retaliation for making DV suffer for 2 weeks. Sigh!

But then, it's better not to start arguing that topic.

Physical violence? Not right in any way!

Thank you for this much needed post 👏... I hope that the people who made those comments will understand why this is so wrong. Like Saanchi or hate her, she hasn't nor will she ever do anything that warrants physical abuse! In fact, nothing warrants physical abuse! NOTHING!

Yes but sanchi needs to bed told a few things by DV...u cannot take ppl u love for granted also..but there r better ways than any physical...

no way...it is never acceptable for a man to hit a woman...under no circumstances...if saachi rejects him again then DV shud just walk away with head held high...

first wen i saw post i didnt cment jst give lyk cz i also said dv shuld slap anky nt sanchi. Bt nw wen i read cments i realised m nt wrong. I said dv shld slap anky cz in indian clture n tradition girls izzat is big issue wen d grl shldnt respect herself hw cn wrld rspect her? Here anky is taking advantage of dv emotionl cndition no matr its fake or real nyt bt in d wrlds eyes it cn b true only. For dis cheap think slap is also ltl thing. As a grl hw cn any1 say dis thing.

@vinee and uppaas: Thank u for agreeing that physical violence is not the way to teach Saachi the lessons you think she needs to be taught, am sure your opinion got some ppl to read this who otherwise wouldn't have. :)

@shonali: Sweetie, I never took anyone who said they want to slap Anky seriously.. the whole forum was pretty pissed off with her. And you needn't apologize for having an opinion.

But I get that you sincerely believe that she deserved to be slapped. So let me reiterate.. no woman deserves to be hit by a man.. whether she is virtuous, she is cheap, or anything in between. In Anky's case, what bigger 'slap' could she have got than DV's rejection? That is how a real man deals with such a situation. He's made it clear in no uncertain terms that she can never have that place in his life, and that is more than enough. Anky is a misguided spoilt brat and she will learn her lessons from her own experiences. You cannot make someone 'good' by hitting them.

Kiran...what a wonderful way of explaining.I too feel how low a girl like Anky be ...but physical abusing someone is no solution...nor a way to teach a lesson.A girl like Anky when falls to such low ,cheap tactics of getting someone,can a slap really change her mentality?And I agree...the REJECTION by DV and marrying Sanchi will be the most desired lesson for her and to make her realize about her position in DV's life.
