Deepika Ranveer moments from screen awards

Life Ok! telecast their annual Screen Awards yesterday. SRK played host with performances by Varun Dhawan, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Mika Singh, Ali Zafar etc. But the two people who stole the show, not just with their performances or awards, but also with their adorable and cute interactions on stage were Deepika and Ranveer.

Here's a round-up of the top 5 moments from Screen Awards for all you Ranveer-Deepika fans :

5. Deepika's Chennai Express style singing: When asked by SRK about "1-2-3-4 boyfriend ka naam bol", Deepika responded, "Uff uski adaa, I like the way he moves. Uff uski shakal, I like the way he looks. Uff jo bhi hai woh, I will never tell you!" The cameraman conveniently zoomed to Ranveer, who looked visibly embarrassed. In SRK's defense, he tried. But Deepika is one tough cookie to crack!

4. Ali Zafar's "shikayat": Another fun moment on the show was when Ali Zafar was on stage to present the Best Director Award. Ranveer, who was hosting that segment of the show, engaged in some playful banter with Ali. Ranveer said, "Afridi se aap pareshaan hai?" (referring to Total Siyappa's dialogue). To this an embarrassed Zafar responded, "Main Deepika ko shikayat lagaa doonga!" Ranveer's reaction to this was just priceless

3. When "Old Ranveer" scolded "Young SRK" : SRK commented that Ranveer looked like a "young Shah Rukh Khan" and that he was starting to look like an "old Ranveer Singh." SRK then accused Ranveer of "stealing" all his heroines. When asked about Ranveer's "Tattad Tattad with Shaanti (aka Deepika)", Ranveer responded, " Sir, aap unhe launch karte hain. Main toh sirf unka saath deta hoon." Both SRK and DP looked very amused.

2. "Sweep It Up! We're Proud of Ya!": Deepika won the best actress (popular award) for Ram Leela. She came on stage dancing to Nagada Sang Dhol, and Ranveer joined in. After she thanked her fans in her speech, Ranveer congratulated Deepika for her awards sweep and said "We're proud of ya!" And he looked like he really meant it :)

1. "You're My Favoriteee": This one made me go "AWWW." Deepika was on stage, accepting the best actress jury award for both Chennai Express and Ram Leela. She did her famous dance step from Titli, and Ranveer reciprocated with a little Titli dance too! As she accepted the award, she thanked her directors and crews of both the films. Then went on to thank Ranveer for being the "most wonderful co-star." To this Ranveer responded, "Thank you! You're my favoriteee!" Deepika's smile in response was quiet perfect!
