When Hollywood's top actors are all older than the 3 Khans! Brad Pitt, Johnny Deep, George Clooney, Tom Cruise, Liam Neeson all are older than the Khans! You don't see Hollywood fans saying these guys need to retire!

Speaking of Liam Neeson saw the trailer for NonStop when I went to go watch I, Frankenstein it looks AWESOME! Definitely going to see that one!

Their age isn't a problem to me. Older men can still be attractive. My issue is the double-standards that Bollywood has. Madhuri does a song like Ghagra today and a section of the audience thinks she's too old for it now. While the Khans are 40+ and romancing girls half their age and also playing characters half their age. And apparently that's completely okay.

The sad reality is that actresses have a shelf life. But the Khans don't seem to. Even if they make some very bad movies. At this point in their careers, they can do some really amazing movies and yet Salman especially chooses to churn out the same formulaic masala movies all the time.

I think it's bcuz those Hollywood actors also star with actresses near to their own age aswell. The biggest problem with bollywood is that the actresses who are the same age as the khans are pushed away and these young actresses are the only ones who get to act with them.

I think if bollywood got a bit more fair and actors and actresses nearer in age acted together then I don't think people wud complain as much. Coz one of the biggest complaints people have is how much older the khans look opposite these young actresses.

I don't think people want the Khans to retire or disappear. The problem is that the Khans don't play age appropriate roles and try to prance around trees with heroines less than half their age.

I agree aish rani preity madz juhi all these should also act opposite khans but these actresses went from the industry by themselves and now when madz came back again, people are not just crazy about her anymore.

Vidya is 36 but people love seeing her because she never went away, she never disappeared.

Khans worked and they will because no one else in industry is close to them. It's really hard to matchup with khans standard,

I don't agree with that. Aishwarya maybe. But Rani and Preity - definitely not. There's this preconceived notion that once an actress gets married, she "retires" and newer ones replace her. Actresses don't really go by themselves. They phase out. They're replaced.

Rani had a huge string of flops right from Baabul to Laag Churani Mein Daag to Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, Dil Bole Hadippa, Aiyyaa. She tried really hard to stay in Bollywood for as long as she could. Except for Talaash and NOKJ, she hasn't had much success recently.

Preity Zinta's Ishkq in Paris last year flopped terribly.

Karishma Kapoor had a terrible flop as well - Dangerous Ishhq.

It's not that all of these actresses don't want to pursue a career. I think Rani, Preity, Karishma would act if they were given the right opportunities. But they're not accepted by the Indian audience in mainstream cinema anymore. And that's sad. India is ageist and sexist.

kinsey, schindlers list, michael collins, taken franchise, the grey etc

And now we have to compare these ACTORS to our three JOKERS?
