He sud have won the popular instead of debut cos he is not a new comer...

I know for years we have all complained that Filmfare is unfair and they always give awards to popular stars and ignore good performances.

But I just feel that this year, they are over-compensating and purposely giving awards to lesser known actors just to make them seem legit and proper.

Most of the winners, I don't even know who they are, and some of the movies I have never heard of. Like Shahid, BAPass, W*F are those? 😕 They may be good films, but the average moviegoer wouldn't have any idea of what those movies are, and what they represent. The average moviegoer is also not interested in those kinds of movies.

Im not saying that they shouldn't have won, Im sure they were great movies with strong performances; but It def feels like the glamour, hype, and excitement was missing this year.

I'm only disappointed that Lootera wasn't nominated in ALL categories, so happy for Monali for Sawaar Loon. I do think Sonakshi deserved critics award, and Ranveer was a lot more sincere in Lootera than RL. I did think he was good but I personally liked him in Lootera, he should have been nominated for that, perhaps even should have won it! Happy for the rest though. Deepika definitely deserved her award.
