Haidar wants to turn Humaira against them that i can understand... but how can he achieve that by telling her parents about all his past and his intentions?

I think Tanveer didn't ask him to kill Zoya.. tanveer is a dealer now so its unlikely that she will ask Siddique to kill Zoya and then reveal that Zoya is his daughter.. Also Tanveer never liked Raziya so she would want to keep Zoya alive now so that she can get even with Raziya... and she would know that Asad will never marry her now even if Zoya is dead so there is no logic in asking to kill Zoya... but then when is there logic in everything?😆

Siddique clearly said i cannot afford to go to jail... so his agreeing with Raziya's plan to kill Zoya is because of what Raziya said earlier about Zoya planning to reveal them at the party and Haidar's threat about humaira only.😊

Fyi, i went back and watched the infamous red shirt scene. You are right. The scene direction and visuals were well taken. However, the intimacy between asad and zoya did not increase, and she was never that shy of him, even if he pulled her back and repeated his line ...twice... . The second part was unnecessary, and a liitle out of character. Remember bnhh, or even the almost kiss(es) ? Yes she pulled back, but not due to shyness, it was part of the chase, and he let it go because it was his game too! 😎.

I gather you went and watched it after our discussions on soup's thread right..

You know, i feel in this scene, its appropriate that Zoya became shy.. because the situation they landed in was quite different. in the process of their fight Zoe fell down on top of Asad's bare chest. that has never happened before. And now they are so much in love and is planning to get married and about to announce that to the whole world. and at such a moment in time, when something like this happens, its natural that feelings will arise and a girl become shy as well.. you cannot always pretend to be nonchalant all the time... In fact Asad should have also been shy and disturbed and he probably was but to tease Zoya he behaved differently as if it was nothing to him and taunted Zoya.

I want to say that Raquesh is handsome, well built, a good actor. But at the end of the day, he is not ksg, and only ksg can be Asad. The character of Asad has undergone many changes, has been massacred by its own creators enough. This scene in that sense is true to type ... Sudden uncharacteristic vibes. And Surbhi played the scene well, but the connection is just not there! 😕
I know Raqesh can never be KSG.. KSG is so good that he has portrayed each and every nuance of Asad so well that it is really difficult to see another person as Asad... but still if we can keep aside KSG and view Raqesh as Asad, he is doing quite a good job and i feel he will become even better in future..Still he cannot be KSG and i feel its best we never compare them.

having said that i know its difficult not to do so... and unintentionally even i did last two weeks.. especially in the first week i did it despite being prepared to see Raqesh as the face of Asad.. but now as days pass, i can view the serial and see Raqesh as Asad without having KSG's image at the back of my mind... but that does not mean i have forgotten KSG.. he will always be cherished in my mind..

And i think the main reason why you didn't feel the connection was because you saw an AsYa scene first without seeing Raqesh portraying Asad before so it became more difficult to view that scene and accept it.

That said, the Asad Najma conversation was very good. 😛

I do not watch. qh any more. I will watch certain key episodes online based on the updates to get a sense of closure. But i will take take care to avoid Asya scenes. In any case, it does not seem like asads screen time has increased or anything. In fact, ksg every alternate week used to get quite a bit more! .

I understand how difficult it is for some of you to accept this change..And i would even say don't force yourself to see something which hurts you and cannot accept because you will never like it then... but if you can ever bring yourself to watch it, watch it with a broad open mind accepting that no two people cannot be same but still could be good as well..

I am happy though to have met some awesome ladies! I return for the ffs,soups diary and your posts, along with a few others.

I am also glad i met people like you and i miss you all who comment on my posts often... do visit whenever you feel like...
