I just made a post titled "Misleading TRPs" a while ago. I returned back to reply to one of the responses and the thread has disappeared altogether! As is the custom, I thought it was merged but nope, not really. It just disappeared in thin air without anyone from the concerned authorities minding to inform me about the reason behind this action against my thread. If my memory has not failed me, there was no bashing, trashing, abusing going on in that thread when I last left it. Now it's not there and I don't know why... how incredibly amazing...

The unspoken rules of this forum is beyond me. Had it not been for the circle of friends I have made here, I would have long bid adieu to this place..

Don't be so disheartened, sometimes this forum moves too fast and certain topics get missed completely.

Other times it's because we are all from different timezone and thus are not online.

I wouldn't let this get to you as even I have had posts which no one has replied to.

It's not done intentionally

Awww... Thanks for your thoughtfulness.

It's not because the thread was inactive. In that case, I should still have it under "My Posts" right? But it's not there. I used the search engine to find it and I get an error message when I try to open my thread. This means that one of our respectful mods saw it fit to delete my thread from the history of IF without informing me. So yeah it was intentionally I guess...

Par koi gal nahi... We still have many more amazing threads...

Aw no worries😊

I've had that done to me countless of times!

I remember when I posted some very excited posts last week about the episodes and then I couldn't find my post at all.

I don't know why that happens, but oh well.

I still want to see more posts come from you okay! 😃

Hey the same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I have been off and on IF for many years now, but this is the first time it has happened to me.

Nope. When they merge threads, your post still appears under "My Posts." It happened to me yesterday. One of my topics was similar to another thread so they merged it. When I clicked on my post, it took me to the thread in which it was merged.

However, in the present case I don't find any trace of my thread except for an error message... As far as I remember, you get that error message if a certain thread is closed.
