She is his only source of comfort and that's a fact because he is closed off to everyone else. Plus, him seeking comfort in this way is not only in character, but also realistic as to how most unattached individuals act. Do you all not see this around you with friends or whatever?

He and Paro are not in love, not in the slightest. Yes, they met and yes, there is initial attraction, especially on his part but THAT'S IT. To him she's a suspect/witness and to her, he's a ruthless army officer. There is no love story now.

Also this whole thing with people being angry that Rudra isn't pure for Paro is silly because in this day and age, it's not realistic. A great portion of young men (and even women) are NOT virgins and THAT'S OKAY. I applaud the CVs for giving us a character that is not only deeply flawed, but also realistic in terms of how many men act. I don't like Rudra & Laila scenes, but this angle will show the obvious difference between his relation with her and his future love with Paro. That's the whole point!

Finally, if we are angry at Rudra for sleeping with Laila, then we should be equally angry at Paro for getting married AFTER she met Rudra. Why doesn't anyone talk about that?

Dont get me wrong dear...i have no problem that Rudra enjoys sex...he can enjoy himself and i agree with you in everything u said abt unattached individuals act.

My only problem was the timing..he was badly injured..but he acted like a sex deprived mare in heat...i mean why then??? what was being implied??? I am not at all angry at Rudra for sleeping with laila...Rudra doesn't feel anything for Laila...the thing they share is just physical..nothing emotional or anything. But it would hv been better that if they showed Rudra is not sleeping with laila now as he has already met Paro. ( I know their love story hasn't started yet...but we do get to hear the Rangrasiya song in background when they look at each other...eye sex as some of us call it...so there has to be some thing going on between them).

if we are angry at Rudra for sleeping with Laila, then we should be equally angry at Paro for getting married AFTER she met Rudra. Why doesn't anyone talk about that?

ha ha ha ..umm..i dont know what to say at this...when Paro and Rudra met, they didnt talk and also Paro hates BSD and she didnt think abt Rudra at all...i dont know...we cant really blame Paro...i mean the two scenarios u r comparing is not even of same kind...i mean if Paro slept with Varun/or any other before marriage then u could compare this to Rudra sleeping with Laila..

But I didn't get how CVs wrote that scene! I really didn't understand this scene at all in the context of what has been happening on the show. It felt totally misplaced. How is even humanly possible with so grave injuries and here I am not talking abt if they did it or not.. But he going all the way to Laila itself..

Or do his injuries heal magically like they show in cartoons?? 😕

Lol! I love this argument. I think that this is a very realistic portrayal of a guy like Rudra. He is not in love with Paro, and therefore there is no cheating or guilt involved. Him going to Laila, at this point, there are a few reasons why I think it made sense:

1) There is an attraction to Paro that's difficult to define and understand. Add to that his frustration of her non-compliance, the stress from his seniors, everything that's happened the last little while. All this tension has to be chanelled somewhere. And you can see that in the way he pushed/pulled Paro around, but he cannot do more, so he goes to Laila. Laila is his one outlet, and at this point, he really needs it.

2) He refuses to admit his weaknesses. Emotional and physical both. Emotional we have seen so far. Now physical we are also seeing. He will not admit that he needs help, of any kind. So him going to Laila, in spite of being injured, is him directly defying his own needs. It's him refusing to acknowledge that he is human and not invincible.

I like the way they are portraying Rudra. Loving Paro is something that is not going to happen overnight. And it is not realistic if they show Rudra's core personality changing so drastically just because he has met Paro. There are many physiological aspects to his character, so many internal motivations, that just meeting some girl isn't going to wipe away. Really enjoying the details shown in establishing the personalities of these characters!

very nicely said 👏👏

Rudra's character is sooo very complex...and i defineitely hv to keep my mind wide open to accept all his traits...

i wanted to hate him but god help me he is sooo damn sexy...I cant simply keep away from him and 10 o clock i just tune into colors automatically...no difference between me and laila... I keep coming back to Rudra after being treated so bad...🤢
