Last episode brought the youngesters on the front
Maansingh the great Rajput General is for the first time in the battlefield
Previously Adham used to head the wars and no big deal got a bad name to Akbar
Maan on the other hand was a very ferocious warrior and won many battles for Akbar but was a hardcore disciple of his king and never dreamt of betraying him.
He brought new lands but never belittled enemies, treated them kindly and brought a good name to Akbar
So here Jalal is starting to bring forward his new generation of lieutenants
Hakim later on rebellled but maan never rebellled and stayed loyal to him
This brings o ou t two facets
1.jalal starts believing rajputs more than his kins
2.amers honour restored, perhaps they may showbhim saving hakim and Akbar forgives Shivani.
Starting of Sulhe kul in its infancy...
Maansingh and Pratap equation will also start shortly I presume. ..
And thus will begin akbars famous Rajput policy
Good job cvs you're playing it well.
Slowly but certainly akbar is getting rid of Akhtah khail or petticoat governanace.
Here by his great intelligence he gave Maansingh a platform to restore his honours as he believed in his honesty and virtuousness as well as bravery.
Hakim as a brother jalal tried to divert his mind too and got rid of Adham Khan too who did atrocities after victory
So jalal scores all aces...an excellent episode

yes atlast akbar is removing the petticoat government.
The period between when bairam khan died to maham anga ruled when akbar was 17-20 years old till adham khan's death was called petticoat government by historians. After that day akbar ruled independently without anyone ruling over him and his decisions.
why? Its there to see for all maham using all sort of manipulations to control akbar and the court and even akbar's wives and harem
Its good to see jalal trusting and treating man singh with respect despite ameri's follies towaards his family in marriage. But he understands man singh is young just 3-4 years younger than him and would not have done anything to do with this shivani fiasco.
But i am not sure about hakim he is emotionally not stable at the moment why send him to war to change his mind so soon? May be Man Singh will save his life and hence jalal will forgive shivani and conduct her marriage to tejwant? That will be great because it means as an emperor he does not differentiate between royal and common man and secondly he shows he has a big heart to forgive relatives who have hurt him(although this he already showed when he forgave adham and bharamal/bhagwan das and will forgive sharifuddin and abu mali too later). Although usually all human beings usually forgive relatives because when its family its tough to set aside emotional bonds and punish them as cruelly as those we are not related to?
A truly great human forgives enemies too and that phase of Akbar will start but not so soon will take a few more years of maturity to do that. I think once Akbar had kids that is when he strated major reforms like banning child marriage, jiyaza tax, cow slaughter etc.

hi
Petticoat governance was the period when close kins of akbar tried to control him they were Maham, Adham, Bairam and Sharifuddin, but jalal got rid of all of them and emerged as the Emperor and built his own empire with entirley his own trusted ones.He systematically destroyed every factor who tried to control his authority.
