Contest Rules:
Your story must include at least 2 officers who are no longer part of CID. They can be anyone from any time as long as they have a good role in the story. You can even combine officers from different eras, for example Tasha and Asha or Viren and Vivek, but there must be 2 officers at least. You can include more if you like but remember that they must have a good role in the story. It can't be a one-scene appearance. From the current officers you can choose who you want to show and who you don't, but you must include at least 5 officers from the current team. There must be no deaths whatsoever in the entire story. Not even so much as the culprit's aunt's daughter's cousin's friend's sister's neighbour died. No deaths. Period. You can wound an officer, but please avoid making it deathly. Being shot in the arm or a wound on the head or even being knocked unconscious is fine, but nothing like sending an officer into a coma or to the deathbed. You can include forensics if you like, but please make it realistic. No tomato juice that reduces anxiety. Use English, Hindi, or a combination of both. Page limit of 20 pages, Times New Roman, size 11. No minimum. Send the story to KhotaSikaShreya by February 22nd, 2014 11:59 PM IST. Extensions will be discussed closer to the due date. PM title must be "CID Story Contest". Nothing else will be accepted. This thread is open for discussion on the plot, questions, concerns, "pushing" others to write, and whatever else related to the contest.
Plot:
Two CID officers are at City Bank when a group of robbers come in attempting to steal in broad daylight. The two officers get into a fight with the robbers chasing them away. The team must work to find these robbers based on the little forensic evidence Dr. Salunkhe is able to find, the CCTV footage, and the descriptions by the CID officers. How does the team find the robbers? Why were the robbers robbing in broad daylight? Who is behind it all?
