I still think my plan is much better, that Alexander will realise what has happened to Porus and why, and will rescue him and take him back to Paurav Rashtra.
The big question here is why Porus is not dead already. After all, Olympias aur Zeus ki izzat ka sawaal hai! But I have found the answer to that as well. Like her son, Olympias does not realize that the best is the enemy of the good, Instead of finishing Porus off straightaway, while she spends time refining the manner of his departure from this world, Alexander will arrive and put a stop to her shenanigans.

I agree about the bridge, but the net business is beyond me. If Alexander gets caught in the jaal surely there would be lots of his people around to rescue him,. beginning with Hephaestion.
