I say it is a shame for them to have invested all this time and effort in the show and translations only to end up feeling disillusioned and let down like this. I feel bad for them, especially since they are, as you said, serious viewers.

Will keep in mind the distinction between dialogue and monologue, thanks Aunty. Hope you are doing well.

My dear, if they chose the wrong show, yeh to hona hi tha! But at least they have discovered Rohit, for which it is worth tolerating a lot of junk!

I have been sleeping all afternoon, so my head feels a bit better than usual. Another 10-15 days, and I hope the extreme fatigue and the cough will be gone too. At my age, one does not recover so easily from any attack!

All the best for your extremely spirited campaign to launch Rohit on Turkish and Indonesian TV! I would have wanted something European for him, for his looks are decidedly Western, but anything would be better than another SidT project. Just see what is happening to poor Rajat!

And a role in Turkish serials could be a stepping stone to better things. The boy deserves the best, ideally a full fledged Hindi film role.

Let us hope for the best for him, and do whatever we can to that end. If I can locate any useful contacts, I shall let you know.

From his side,. Rohit should get himself a really good PR person. That is a must.

@bold, absolutely! People were hooked on to the story initially as well as the grand sets, great war sequences (on the Macedonian side) and wonderful cinematography. The way the show started off, no one could have predicted that things would end up like this.

The demonization of Alexander has in fact gained the character more sympathy, and has in a weird twist of fate gained Rohit more fans too. Even in India, people are disappointed that the character is being degraded just to lift up Porus, instead of showing them as opponents who are evenly matched in skill and strategy. That would have made the show far more interesting, but oh well, no point crying over spilled milk now.

I want to see Rohit in all kinds of TV shows and films worldwide, and even Hollywood one day. He is more talented than many actors I've seen till date. I just wanted to start with Indonesia and Turkey because people know him there already, so it would be easier to "campaign" as you call it. 😆

Also, there are more and more Turkish shows on Netflix now thanks to the popularity of Kurt Seyit ve Sura, and if Rohit were cast in one of them, even more people would discover him. I, for one, would love to see Kivanc and him to do a show or film together. 😃

Yes, Rohit needs a good PR person, but before that, he also needs to be ready to brave the world outside of the Swastik camp. Hopefully, what happened in this show has given him that perspective and he won't let his gratitude to SidT hold him back from exploring new opportunities. As you've said in the past, Aunty, he's at his prime. This is the best time for him to go and make a splash on the world stage.

Still praying for your health to improve very soon. Take care of yourself, Aunty. Miss you! 🤗

See how much people still admire Alexander The Great today, to the extent that they are tattooing him on!

Rohit brought to life this legend on screen!

Et voila! The universe conspires.
Christopher Mcquarrie wants to make an Alexander The Great film, and people have asked him to collaborate with Netflix, which he's open to.

After watching Valkyrie and his Mission Impossible movies I am sure he would do a great job if such a movie were to be made, one that would definitely erase the memory of the not-so-well-received Alexander movie from 2004.

He should definitely look at Rohit's work!

That's good! It will take a lot of time. He has just shown his interest into making it. A lot of research and scripting would be required. In the process, he will also check the work of other makers and since SidT's creation is making a buzz at most of the places, he might also want to check the first few episodes featuring Alexander which are enough to impress someone!

Of course, I'm more than happy to do whatever I can to help Rohit's work be discovered this side of the Atlantic! 😉

The universe indeed conspires ! Can we tag along all Rohit fan clubs together and tell them to suggest his name by posting along some pictures of him as Alexander, or most preferably, the extract of all of his most powerful scenes, to back up their sayings. Just prevent them from writing any cheesy and vain praises for Rohit with use of disastruous emojis 😆 Not to be bossy or anything but we are his fans and we know how talented and praiseworthy he is, so showering him with amountless love among and within us is fine but here we have to act pragmatically as the said Christopher knows absolutely nothing about him so we have to introduce him to Rohit as objectively as we can and by highlighting him when it's necessary 😛

@bold 🤣

Hey, the intent is not to become his PR person or manager, but just to create awareness among the general public. Looks like more people know of him than I thought, even in the US!

In the meantime, can we please get an updated photo for his display picture on India Forums? The one they have is from ages ago.
I have no clue whom to request in order to change it.
