Alex ki vajah se trp dint decreases , Persian track was very gud.many peope had given up poras coz unreasonable track of paurav rashtra. Puru ke faras yatra se bahut trp increase ho gayi

If alex part is removed from d story , there is nothing in d story left except bekaar ka drama.

How easily alex Persian fight is said 2 be reason of decrease trp, when d episode was not fully dedicated 2 him , paurav rashtra unnecessary drama was also

How can you say that? Porus was a brave and noble king irrespective of Alexander's existence. Moreover he was a good person who took care of his subjects. There are many unsung heroes who lay down their lives for their nation. They are extremely brave, courageous and have nerves of steel.
It's just that he is known in history for resisting Alexander. But it was due to his nature and coz of the person he was that he faced Alexander.Had Porus been like Ambhi Jr then he would have surrendered. But he faced Alexander coz he was Porus.
Had there been anyone else in Alexander's place even then Porus would have stood up to defend his country. And tell me one thing,Alexander fought many battles in his lifetime and faced several adversaries. But out of them all why is Porus remembered?
It is because the Battle of Hydaspes crushed Alexander's ambition to conquer India. We can debate on who won and who lost. But it cannot be denied that Purushottam's forces caused severe and irreparable losses to Alexander.

So naa Porus ka wajood Alexander ke bharose hai naa Alexander ka wajood Porus ke bharose. Both men were the masters of their own fate.

whatever he is known only because of alexander ...and we should thank greek and persian writers who wrote about him otherwise poras would have lost in history...what we indians know about him. Nothing at all...just that he fought alexander...that roxana tied rakhi...and that famous surrender...otherwise nothing else...

History of Ancient India starts from Alexander's conquest, all that we have before that are mostly assumptions. We know about brave and great heros like Porus only due to Alexander.

@luckySnow,If,according to you,'Wajood' or existence only means the number of chapters dedicated to a person dedicated in a history book then very well Porus is knowm in history coz of Alexander and that he gave Alexander the toughest fight ever.
The difference which Alexander's presence brought to the scenario was that unlike any other invader Alexander was honourable enough to recognise the respect his foe and due to which Porus became his ally later. As Shyamala Aunty mentioned in one of her other posts,Skandagupta too defeated the barbaric Huns and protected the entire North India but Porus is more celebrated coz his opponent was someone as glorious as Alexander.

But for me and several others the term 'Wajood' or 'existence' has a different meaning.A person's existence depends on his actions. It's his/her actions which determine whether his/her existence was fruitful or not.
Porus was great coz he fought for his country and he would have fought with the same valour and strength even if it had been anyone else in the place of Alexander. He did his duty which made his existence a worthy one.It wouldn't have mattered even if he was lost in the pages of history after that coz he committed the right act

Again when it comes to history it's highly ambiguous.Indian historians too deserve due credit for its not only the Greek and the Persian records which mentioned Porus. For every notable event in history was recorded in one way or the other. If the Greek records mentioned Porus then the Indian records provided whatever detail there is about him no matter how minute it is.

This is true for Alexander's invasion changed the course of Ancient India's history forever. It acted as a catalyst for several events. As I have said earlier, heroes emerge only in the face of the dire adversities.
I am not denying that it's due to Alexander that people know about Porus for its a fact.

However I do not agree that Porus's entire existence depended on Alexander. He was always a noble and brave hero and he would have faced any enemy in the same manner though not just any foe could have immortalised him in the pages of history like Alexander did.His actions would have remained the same though even if he would have remained an unsung and unknown hero lost in the pages of history.

We can very well say that Porus got his due recognition in history coz of Alexander.
But saying that Porus' existence depended on Alexander is too far fetched 😆

and not to forget there is another version of history which said a total different story.. The version mentions that Porus actually drove away alexender and his army from the border of Indian subcontinent causing huge damage to Alex's army😉... It doesn't follow the pattern of Greek history which says that Alexender returned Puru's kingdom, his respect because of his valor, courage and nobility...

Now people follows different tells... the greek one got more recognition and popularity with time.. but we shouldn't forget that even the historians of that time had to live on the shadow of royals so whatever may be... they are bound to write something which favors and satisfies his kings...😛 ... so i don't feel that even the Greek records are totally accurate...

And history of Ancient India starts much before than Alexender's conquest... It starts from the Indus civilization when Alexender didn't even existed... 😛...

So...yaa there is an audience who connect to puru and makers havent failed with their characterization. Its easy to sit and say...oh makers wasted actors time...makers have given these actors their hall for fame for forever...rohittt se pooche koi...agar woh keh de ki porus ne usse kuch na diya ho...ya rati di se hi poochoo...the excitement on her face when she talks about porus is something i can die for...she isss sooo happpy too doo this show...siddharth sir and team has tried doing justice to all characters till the point they can...even mahabharat got a lot of history distortions but it is remembered ...and porus will be remembered too and i am sure about this. In addition, no show on tv till date has got the cinematography porus got...sooo yesss the teammm is also working as hard as the actors are.

Totally agree dear👏. Even I watch the show for PR only. I luv bamni anu and puru.
I agree rohit is dng better as Alex if compared to laksh as puru. But still i like puru more than Alex.
And anu bamni to mere fav h hi😳
