What they are showing about Alexander is true history there was a succession battle. But why are they showing unnecessary cruelty really not done they could have shown the succession battle in a better way. Killing a baby is unforgivable. Showing history is good but show it a good way not in such a disgraceful manner. Alexander history is shown correctly but also show it in the correct manner.

Really they need to stop showing those gory and brutal scenes now

Okay!! You wanna prove a point?? We got it.Alexander was aruthless guy, kroor, magroor, blah, blah, blah. But what's the need to show this again and again?

The CVs wanna show Puru as the sole hero?? Okay we got it.Puru is the hero and no one is denying it.But you don't need to blackwash Alexander to prove it.What was the necessity to depict the scene of him killing the baby in such detail? For all they could have just got some random soldier informing Alex that Cleopatra's child is dead.

Despite all his ruthlessness,Alexander was not evil.He had a loving and caring side.He loved Olympias,Hephastion and Roxana. He respected Darius's family and took care of Barsine/Stateira's education before making her his wife.

And in case the CVs are forgetting this then it's the same Alexander who asked Porus how he would like to be treated and after getting Porus' answer he not only befriended him but also allowed him to retain his territories.
This is a story which every kid knows and through this story they know Porus.

Don't the CVs realise that by showing Alexander as a multifaceted character and giving him ample screenspace they would be gaining the audience and simultaneously the ratings?
For all purposes Alexander was promoted as the parallel lead of the show along with Puru. They even share a montage together. So the audience who watch the show for Alexander are not gonna like it.

Also brutal and gory scenes like killing a baby are not appreciated by the TRP audience especially if this is a prime time show.So that's another reason why it was an unwise move.

Totally agree with you here mate ! Yes,porus is the hero here, and Alex is not the villain but an anti-hero actually. Its Darius ||| who is the villain, although he ruled persia only for 6 years, and was an insignificant coward.Showing the persian shehenshah doing petty business in a small indian kingdom in itself is so silly really🥱 ! And the barsine nonsense is worse, I think they are trying to create anl alex-puru-barsine love triangle😲 Alex did'nt give a sh** for her(sorry for the expletive!) as he married Barsine after 10 long years of capture, alongside her longtime rival to the throne, her cousin Parypatis, who was the legal heir as she was Shah Arses daughter.
And Alex married both the rivaling cousins on the very same day, what a humiliation to both!
He did it to encourage his macedonian generals and soldiers to accept the persian noble families thru marriage, and thus raise a persian parallel army who would only hold allegiance to him and keep the macedonian ambitions in check.
As fair credit, what they have shown of Alex and Macedonia so far has been fairly accurate, but there is so much to cover,in terms of the major battles Alex fought.Showing 4-5 minute snippets cannot do it justice.
