To make Porus look strong stupid Indian TV producers are vilifying Alexander the great...the man who is considered as the greatest emperor to ever exist will be shown no more than Dracula...TO Be honest Alexander the great achieved so much in just 33 years which no other king or emperor achieved in their lifetimes...and here they are showing him as a child killer...the man who won Tyre, the man who cut the Gordian knot, the man who united east and west is shown here as a whinnying boy
There is a reason that Alexander is hailed as hero even after 2500 years...that Greece, Macedonia and Albania are still fighting over him.

They are just trying to show that he is ruthless and he must have beenthat if he has won over the world. He surely did not do it through love, he did it by hook or crook. But I think they must stop showing such disgusting scenes. It is not right. We know he was not the most loving. We GET the point CVs, time to show his achievements now.

I agree 100% with you on this point. Do take a look at my post on exactly the same issue.

But it is true that Alexander had many people killed to secure his throne. It is not unexpected. Even Ashoka killed his brothers and opponents.
This is documented by Greek historians themselves: "Alexander began his reign by eliminating potential rivals to the throne. He had his cousin, the former Amyntas IV, executed. He also had two Macedonian princes from the region of Lyncestis killed, but spared a third, Alexander Lyncestes. Olympias had Cleopatra Eurydice and Europa, her daughter by Philip, burned alive. Alexander also ordered the murder of Attalus, who was in command of the advance guard of the army in Asia Minor and Cleopatra's uncle."

This is the second baby he is killing. One while hallucinating and another in real. I think the viewers understood that he was ruthless no need to repeat the action. 🥱

Rohit also recently uploaded a video of him playing with the child. The caption clearly states that he found it very difficult and uncomfortable to shoot that particular scene, that too with a child of such cuteness and innocence. What's the need to make this so hard for him CVs? Okay we get yhe point that Alex was cruel, but you need not remind us of thay again and again. Heartbroken at Rohit's sadness 💔

Really they need to stop showing those gory and brutal scenes now
Okay!! You wanna prove a point?? We got it.Alexander was aruthless guy, kroor, magroor, blah, blah, blah. But what's the need to show this again and again?

The CVs wanna show Puru as the sole hero?? Okay we got it.Puru is the hero and no one is denying it.But you don't need to blackwash Alexander to prove it.What was the necessity to depict the scene of him killing the baby in such detail? For all they could have just got some random soldier informing Alex that Cleopatra's child is dead.

Despite all his ruthlessness,Alexander was not evil.He had a loving and caring side.He loved Olympias,Hephastion and Roxana. He respected Darius's family and took care of Barsine/Stateira's education before making her his wife.

And in case the CVs are forgetting this then it's the same Alexander who asked Porus how he would like to be treated and after getting Porus' answer he not only befriended him but also allowed him to retain his territories.
This is a story which every kid knows and through this story they know Porus.

Don't the CVs realise that by showing Alexander as a multifaceted character and giving him ample screenspace they would be gaining the audience and simultaneously the ratings?
For all purposes Alexander was promoted as the parallel lead of the show along with Puru. They even share a montage together. So the audience who watch the show for Alexander are not gonna like it.

Also brutal and gory scenes like killing a baby are not appreciated by the TRP audience especially if this is a prime time show.So that's another reason why it was an unwise move.

Same here.Rohit is one of the most sweetest persons ever and if we were so upset over the scene I can't imagine what he must have gone through while filming it
As a Rohit fan I am terribly disappointed. He is an amazing actor and an even better person. Then why are the damned CVs treating him in this manner?😡

'Porus' - this show has lost its charm, these days it looks more like a typical hindi daily soap!
