Contrasting hospital scenes today
Hospital-1
Fight between Maars and Kadhir in hospital.Maars blames Kadhir for the whole thing. Mama tells the other family that they are responsible for all this. He asks whetherit was sinful for Kavitha to want to marry Kadhir.
Inspector tries to separate them and says we have to hear what Kavitha says about this matter. Kavitha's mother tells Inspector that Kavitha was afraid to see the police and hence she tried to commit suicide and she says all this is because of Kadhir's kidnapping only.
The doctor comes out and says that Kavitha is still critical and can't talk to anyone. Inspector posts a constable to stay there till Kavitha regains consciousness.
Then he tells Kadhir privately that if Kavitha does not regain consciousness or support her family's stand, then he will have to take action aginst Kadhir even though he knows very well that Kadhir is innocent in this matter.Mama asks how u can talk like this knowing theb truth fully well. But Inpector says he is bound by the law and he can't do anything.
After Inspector leaves, arguments again start between Mama and Maars. Mama asks whether he does not have any conscience at all in behaving like this and try to suppress what is good for Kavitha? Maars retaliates saying who says in what way kadhir suitable to marry Kavitha? He again accuses Kadhir of not knowing father's name.Again they come to blows and the constable posted there just keeps quiet. "enna nadandhalum enankkenna madhiri" Finally the doctor restores order by saying you can't fight like this near ICU.
Hospital-2
Sharada/ganesh wait anxiously and the doctor comes out and asks Sharada whether there is any family problem is there involving her DIL.When she could not comprehend, the doctor further says that Vidya is pregnant and she tried to abort it by taking a drug.Sharada is very surprised by the news that vidya is pregnant and the doctor says you are well to do people and you don't know that your DIL is pregnant/ is this the way that you are taking care of your DIL,she asks.Finally she says now there is no threat to Vidya and as you brought her in time, the child is also ok at the moment but she can't say whether the child has been affected by the poison yet.
Sharada asks Ganesh to inform Ramesh and Sundari. Ganesh calls them and tells them to come to hospital.
Sharada now is immersed in nostalgia about what Mohanasundaram had told her about having a grand child. MS asks her why she never daunted him and why always he had to beg pardon from her. She says he only will speak something harsh iniyially and hence later he had to make amends. Now he asks her to say something harsh to him so that she will be forced to beg pardon from him. She refuses and the matter comes to the grandchild and he says you have to name the grandchild as Mohanasundaram and if he does anything naughty, then she may be forced to say something harsh to child Mohanasundaram. She asks how you are sure that our grandchild will be a boy and not a girl?
She gets immersed in such memories and soon Ramesh comes and he also wonders why Vidya had to take such a step.Now Sundari and gang troop in to hospital and they emit some crocadile tears about the whole happening. Ganesh boldly asks what medicine you gave to Vidya. Sundari protests saying they just gave what the doctor prescribed (doctor conveniently gone to US!). Sundari's husband pretends to go home to get the prescription but Sharada stops him saying there is no need. Now Sharad asks Ramesh to phone NK and family. Sundari says there is no need now and we should rather phone them after Vidya comes back home. Very surprisingly, Sharada overrules them and tells Ramesh that this is a major thing and you have to call them.
Ramesh goes and calls NK's house and speaks to NK's wife who says NK has gone out and she reacts in alarm when Ramesh tells the news. She tells Sundaresn to call NK home immediately and talks anxiously with Karpagam/Revathi about Vidya's condition.
