Hey Ronit

You will be pleased to know that I managed to watch a little bit of Astitva yesterday evening.

The story is the stage where Abhi and Simran are married. Abhi's sister has just gone back to her sasural after having a baby. Her parting advice to Siman is to have a baby and her mother will accept Simran (what is the hell is wrong with these people). The mother has just accused Simran of being intoxicated and although Abhi says he is the one who drank not Simran she does not believe him and basically insults Siman's family. Simran is crying which upsets Abhi and he declares that he and Simran are moving out.

From the 15 mins I saw I had two observation:

1. Abhi very clearly cares about Simran and although his reactions are irresponsible (he is a yougn guy) when Simran explains what her issue is, you can see that he understands what she is saying and realises his mistake.(Its like watching a role reversal of TVS and Sugni😆)

2 Urmila is as I imagined her from your write-ups.

This part of the story look interesting but I am not sure about the rest from your right ups.

BTW - Does Simran's father have an "another" woman? Abhi's Mum said something like that.

Its somewhat ironic that Varun has gone the full circle in terms of his roles - when he was is his 20s he portrayed a role that fell for an woman who was older than him by at least 10 years. Now he is in this late 30s he portrayed a role that fell for a girl half his age.

Credit goes to Varun for portraying both characters so well that the former did not look unconvincing and the latter did not look creapy/lustful.👏

I did not write since day one of the show so when i gave the summery of the show i wrote only the important parts of the story but now a days i give written updates of episodes i watch from wu to next wu

Yes ... simran's dad had another lady in his life and her mother hide that truth from her kids because she did not want them to hate their father and simran's mom live with that all those years (i guess that's why abhi felt he can keep simran and kiran both... but simran was not like her mother she kicked him out) well later in his life simran's dad realized his mistake n he too saw the real face of the 2nd lady in his life but yea it was too late cos by then simran's mom was no more.. he was about to apologize to her and found her dead

urmila - well she always felt jealous of simran and all her actions her out of jealous .. u know the rest

yes abhi loves simran allot .. no doubt but his actions show that he is a boy and not mature yet but yes where em not this boy has grown up .. his actions show that he grow up

well I am glad u enjoyed 15 mins of astitva and hope my write updates did help
