Well I love couples with close age. But VINI has inspired me.It shows that love knows no bound. Besides they are not that unsuitable. Age difference of 20 yrs and more is not compatible. ( It looks so wrong)
VINI doesn't reach more than 20 yrs difference. The relationship works as Vikram is experienced, sensible and supportive. In their case, he could support Sugni in getting her Subah.

Yes i agree Simi, the most important thing is the love, mutual understanding, trust and respect that two people have for each other. SugVi's relationship portrays this and it is indeed an inspiration to many.

I just want to add that apart from their hott chemistry, love and trust, another reason they were perfect for each other is that where Sugni was impulsive and rash, Vikram was calm and sensible. She grew up in a flesh selling community and he was mature and gentlemanly to support her in becoming more than some man's play thing.

He did not judge her on her family background or status. He was old and wise enough to know it is not her fault or choice about the family she was born into. He never made her feel inferior but his equal. And considering their very different status, that is a huge thing

Agreed Julie, TVS never made Sugni feel inferior to him.

I am not sure what was their exact age difference either.

When I had read the whole concept of PSH and how Aditya would be the one to rescue Sugni, that is what I was expecting to see. So when Vikram came on the show the first day at the train station, I was like "oh he is so old for her, yada yada yada"

Everything he did, I was scrutinising, looking for the hidden agendas, wondering when he would turn into the "dirty" thakur wanting to molest the poor young girl. But as the story progressed and I saw that there was no hidden agendas and his feelings for her were genuine, I actually stopped noticing the age difference. I saw just this handsome, kind and loving man falling in love with a girl. Their "Ore Piya" dance was so hot and every other scene with them was just amazing until the CVs spoiled it.

So I will say that because of the synopsis of the show, I was looking out for the age difference but then that disappeared. Every story is unique just like every relationship. With SugVi, his unconditional love for her wiped out whatever age difference there was. Relationships are all about trust and respect, even more than love.

So while, I wouldn't agree to a 50 year old guy with a 18 year old girl, some relationships are just beyond age differences.

Julie -

I must say I felt the same way !!!

But what are you views... dose it matter , not matter... To me what matters was the way he treated her... Honestly the 1st time I saw them in the same frame I was like "OH GOD NOT DAT MAN!' then he opened his mouth to talk and I was alright no poblem...
See to me , how a man treats a woman is what matters... and even though he was older than her, he was not the controlling type, or the jealous type, If Adi and reva did not come along I have feeling he woul have helped her to devlop herself and become some one... IN this situation I see nothing wrong with it...

What about you guys?

well said
seeing the promo made me think the same way too 😆

Absolutely agree Vinnie. Actually when i first saw TVS i too thought he was too old for her that was why i thought that Adi was going to be Sugni's prince and TVS was just going to be a really good friend to her somewhat like a mentor who would encourage her to fight against the norms of society. But then when the story changed suddenly and i began seeing TVS falling in love with Sugni i have to say that the issue with their age differences totally disappeared from my mind because their love, respect and trust for each other especially TVS's love for Sugni was something that was very admirable and i guess you guys too felt the same way. When you saw SUGVI'S romantic scenes, you didn't think about their age differences at that time. They just seemed so right for each other.

My perspective is that once two persons truly love each other and always stand by each other through bad and good times and once they are happy then nothing else matters. TVS loved and respected Sugni a lot so i think their age difference did not matter. Both loved each other more than their own lives and they were happy. Relationships are based on love and trust and without them a relationship cannot survive . SUGVI's relationship, even though there were many ups and downs proved that true love always wins in the end. The age difference between them does not stand a change in comparison to their love. I guess once God says its meant to be then its meant to be irrespective of the person(s) race, class, background and in some situations i guess even the age difference.

well written saeah

agreed with every word 👏

Simi .. thank you for choosing this topic
Well I never had any problem with his age because I could see he loves her truly .. but I was doubting him because of those promos who showed him in bad way .. a thakur who comes to the village and wanted to buy a woman and she say No im not for sale and goes away .. U should have seen his facial expressions at that time it looked like oh no he is going to play the bad man ... !!
He entered the story - i was like wow .. that's varun badola .. i actually sow him after 6 yrs at that time and he was totely a different man 😆 he was looking awesome as thakur vikram singh .. well I was doubting him in his every action ,... well he helped her i felt hmm what's his motive why he helps her so much . then one day he say I LOVE U TO her .. for me that was a shock hahahaha i felt eh .. he actually fall in love .. is he ?? really o... then the ore piya dance - I actually doubted his dance too hahahah .. i felt .. dont tell me will he do some thing wrong here will he use that dance and U know old tricks of man .. then they danced and she run away I was like - good she left .- then next day - she realized she was in love - he came near her and wanted 2 hear I LOVE U from her mouth .- I was watching his face looking here n there - I was thinking - eeh .. he does not want other to know he flirt with sugni hahahah - sorry I was doubting him all that time - no matter what he does -then reva manzil drama - actually in that month his actions and talks made me slowly come on his side and see that yes he loves her allot and scared of losing her and is not like others .. I always wanted him to tell the truth .. then the marriage day - i felt oh no dont marry this way - he was guilty and some where wrong - but but but .. after the marriage was broken ... i actually felt sorry for him ... from doubts on him i eventually was on his side .. i Felt sorry for sugni but when she sold her self I was not with her in her next actions but yes vikram was showing his real feelings - that drunk scene clear all doubts and From that point I was on his side no matter what they say ...

Age was not the factor - the promo and the way they showed vikram made me say no to him but after the drunk scene ... I was on his side only and felt and understood his actions !!!!

Well vikram was a great man not like what they said - he was great .. even if they showed him to be around 20's and show such promos i would have doubted him

any ways - i asked people here many times and many had problem with vikram just because of his age nothing else !!! he was good great loving caring romantic hot ext ext but they said he was OLDER that is why they felt adi was better
But love win in the end and No age factor could separate them

We won .. We united them !!!!

Ron I second everything you said. ⭐️

It's the promos that had that old man perverted thakur thought in everyone's mind. We were all judging him before we even got to know him. So shall we say that he also proved himself to us and we also fell in love with him?😉😆
