Thanks Laila awesome post👏, Vikram stated exactly my emotions that I have been expressing on this forum a zillion times. I am no moral police, and I cannot imagine what it is like to face such a tough situation, after never having a good married life. Reva was not normal like some people, she is mentally ill from birth NOT during the marriage, why should someone be forced to take care of this person for the rest of their lives and push away a lifetime of happiness?
In some strange way even though this is a show, Vikram has taught me not to be a coward in love. I would normally be the type to not only tell the truth but walk away completely from the chance at love, just to shoulder a responsibility that was forced upon me. I am not saying I would lie like Vikram but I would be hell bent at getting out of this situation. Yet I am still not moral police.
Remember Jijji is responsible for Vikram's condition, I notice she is not blamed much. She did her brother wrong by making him marry this insane girl.
I have nothing against the mentally ill, but they must be hospitalised for treatment, like in Reva's case, and leave it to God to take care of the rest.

I understand varun's justification but it is still not acceptable for most of us. Think of the other party (sugni ) who dreams of a better life.
