Arthi, in the precap Sugni is telling TVS that ~ Aapka saath, ijjat, pyaar aur sachhai ki jindagi, ye hi to hamara sapna tha. To which, TVS says ~ Hum poori koshish karenge ki tumhara sapna kabhi na toote. Par tum itna yaad rakhna ki pyaar sabse badi cheez hoti hai Sugni, sabse badi cheez.
Well, based on the entire epi, we have come to a point when it becomes clear to TVS that Sugni will die, finish her life IF somehow it is revealed to her that his wife IS alive and DOES live in RM. In spite of the fact that TVS is feeling so guilty separating a daughter from her mother, he is very clever (borderline cunning IMO) when he asks her ~ Maan lo (the biggest operative word here, TVS practically shaking her body to try to convince her ... my god) Maan lo Hum galat hain, maan lo hamari ek biwi hai jo zinda hai aur RM mein rehti hai, instead of actually confessing to her in front of the temple (no IFs, no AGARs) that ~ "Your Mai has been right all along about my wife. She IS alive and DOES live in RM . (Hope I didn't confuse you!).
And the ultimate treachery, deceipt, when TVS says silently to himself ! Hamein hamare sawaalon ka jawaab mil gaya, ab koi kashmakash nahi rah gayi ... I didn't think TVS character will stoop this all-time low, even though he may justify yet again that ... if he told her the truth, she will finish her life. So the best thing is ~~ never to tell her the truth! 😡🤢
In short, this serial is a perfect exmple of how a thakur wields his power to entice a naive, innocent but honest Bedni, and succeeds in molding her for his needs ... JUST THE WAY HE WANTS HER TO BE, JUST THE WAY HE WANTS HER TO BE AT HIS BECK AND CALL, JUST THE WAY HE CAN HAVE HIS CAKE AND EAT IT TOO ... so that woh hamesha ke liya uske ishaaron par naache ... (No, I'm not denying even for a sec that he loves her truly but obsessively, and going to any lengths to not lose her.)
But who is TVS fooling but himself ? Because as we saw today, the story is now unfolding whereby this man/servant from a haveli near RM appears in the scene, talks to Adi and shows his concern about RM and that he found a window broken, etc. (we know the rest). IMO this is the start of Adi becoming instrumental in revealing the Riwa truth and CVs giving him the chance to uphold his vachan to Gulabiya as the story progresses.
Lets see how all this is going to unfold.
