Why SE and his mom, his family(Dhanuma) blaming the Bedia who was with his father is she at fault ????The thakur must have done sardhakayi of her and brought her home did she ask him to leave his child or his wife .????
Its the thakurs fault that he neglected his family and wife, always in the past scenes shown it was the thakur and his wife who was talking not the bedni so why blaming a woman who was herself exploited that is unless there is something that we dont know or the story not shown till now. But now why is Bums also searching for her does TJS or Sarooj thakurian want something, looking at the glance she gave TVS the other day when he clearly defended Sugni and her family May be she wants to take revenge for the insult which she feels as VS and family are ignoring her dictate to isolate Sugni and family

I think Reshma is not at all at fault. She is suppose to lure Thakur only then he will remain attracted towrads her. Thakur only should have realised that what would happen to her family. He wants fun and pleasure in his life only.

Thanks for opening this topic. What is really strange in this show is that all the spurned wives and broken homes are indirectly blamed due to the women in the bedia community..The prejudice of Dhanuma ,Adi ,his mother JT's thakurain all are against the community who apparently in their opinion are the ones responsible for their stray husbands...STRIKINGLY JUDGEMENTAL..isn't it? All of them seem to happily ignore this fact that it is actually their husbands who went astray. So IMO if Resham is at fault then THe respective THAKUR too cannot be spared the blame...It is an EASY DEMAND AND SUPPLY RULE.As long as ppl bought women for their physical desire this prostitution will prevail...

As far as I see it both women are the Victims to these men lust...the bedia who "depends" on them for a every thing...and a wife who has no choice in the matter if her "patidev" decides to stray...and any woman in her right mind will not want her husband involved with another woman, now being helpless to do anything about it, they use the only power they have, there :Tiltle of thakurn, to humiliate the women, the rub is , they to get humiliated when the bedini throws her little barbs like "your husbands come to us, we don't go to him" ect.
So the real culprit in the whole situaton as always is the MAN , sorry to any guys watching.
So blaming Reshma is wrong in a sense, but if you think of it from her perspective it is not. Sorry but if I was SD my judgement will be clouded to.
...😭

Completely agree . It is bedia who is getting exploited . what is store in there life ...it is husband responsibilty to be true to there family .

In JTS i agree that his wife blame gulibiya ..it is mostly happen in village ..women always find fault in another women . Not educated enough to judge who is wrong.

But that should not happen with ADI mother & him ..ADI is educated , should understand who is at fault.

Adi showed his messed up thinking that day by the riverbank. Putting all the blame on the women who lure the poor innocent Thakurs.

Get a grip! He's old enough and educated enough. His past doesn't excuse his male chauvinistic, sexist words that day. Blaming all the Bednis and absolving all the male Thankurs.

Hi everyone!!!

Usually I just read everyone's comments as by the time I am done I am too tired to make comments and go to sleep but couldn't help but make a comment on this topic. I think this show is perfect in the sense that it shows how messed our society is because no matter how much we deny out modern day/city society thinks exactly like that. They think if a man went with a woman then its the woman's fault for luring him but no one takes the time to put the blame on the man for going in the first place. That again shows how much this world is ruled by the man no matter how we would like to believe we have progressed and even though we have progressed a lot since the ancient times we still live in a world where the man rule ...While I am not saying the women are innocent for luring man- it is the man who homes and families that decide to go with these woman. What are Bedia's? Aren't they what we call prostitutes in our modern day city? The difference here is that these Bedia's especially the one's born to one such as Sugni don't even have the choice to live any other way but to be a Bedia. Sugni is an exception as she refuses to accept her faith and is brave enough to fight it but what about the ones who don't have the courage-they never stand a chance.

A prostitute is looked down because of the profession she picks but if one thinks hard -if there were to be no man who paid for his service how would a prostitute remain one? If there was no money in it- then eventually she would move on to a different profession. Its the simple idea of supply and demand- if there is no demand for prostitutes then eventually there would be no supply.

A side note about the wives of these Thakur's. While we can sit here and talk about how their rational is messed but if one were to think hard it would make sense. They don't have absolutely any power over their husbands so the only thing they can is blame Bedia's and try to get rid of them as they can't do anything to their husbands . Its a messed up thinking but we still live in a society where a gets looked down upon if she were to leave her husband or be a divorcee (in city) and this is village.
