Zee had some good stuff. Actually even back in the late 90s-- my grandmother would record some of their stuff and it was so interesting. None of the overdramatic that we now come to associate with hindi serials. Even the comedy stuff like Banegi apni baat-- it was all about college students and real life stuff like teen pregnancy etc.

The interactions between Meher, Abeer and the office workers was also gone. The charm of the show, at least for me, used to be there. How Meher & Abeer's past personal life affected their present working conditions.

But they became so removed from everything that they initially had proposed.

There is for sure, the new show leads said that their show will air on 11PM at night so i think SP made a last minute change. Channels intervention just ruined things. If they wanted loads of drama then why say yes to this new concept.

To be fair I think some of the accident stuff got screwed by the fact that they knew they could be cancelled. And the only way for the show to end with reconciliation is for us to know the past.

I can remember a few of their comedies like Hum Paanch and Hum Sab Hai Baraati. The former show was really short (less than 20 episodes) but it is still memorable in a good way!

If a show can be remembered decades later for its good aspects, then that's a successful show.
