Epilogue
Life is funny...we never know what's in store for us and time brings on what is meant to be...
It took abeer days to move on and meher stay beside him, this time as a friend. No expectations but suppurt. This time made her realise that before anything like a relationship or marriage, they both should be friends. Friendship in a relationship is like a what air is to lungs. Every relationship needs a pinch of friendship in it, the same way food needs salt in it to enhance the. taste. They were back to what they were 10 years back. Sasha nisaar and Mehbeer.
Meher was sitting in her cabin, going through the financial report of the year when abeer barged in. Meher was shocked for a second and then asked him the reason.
"I'm ready to move on... With you... I can't lose you again and I promise never to hurt you ever in this lifetime... I want to spend the next 50 years of my life with you, loving you, adoring you, praising you, pampering you and sometimes fighting with you... Thank you for whatever you did all this time... If it hadn't was for you immense love, support and efforts, Iwouldn't be standing in front of you confessing my love for you... Yes we both did mistakes in the past but we both are young enough to move past those mistakes and misunderstandings now... We can always yell at each other and sort it out eventually... Will you marry me once again meher...???"
This was just the beginning... Meher agreed instantly and they got married next month. But every time meher tried to apologise for her mistakes all this time, abeer stopped her. Never letting her feel sad or guilty... Whatever happened was bound to happen... To reunite them... He told her every single time and she used to smile at his kind words and feel lucky to have him back.
Whatever happened was now in the past and may be somewhere in the back of their head... But in their heart were just the hopes of a beautiful future together. Its been a year they got married, enjoying the marital bliss to the fullest which they couldn't years back. Blame their immaturity and young age.
Nisaar was doing well in groove, performing concerts, some individually and some with abeer. Sasha also got married three months back and was happily travelling the world with her Richie rich businessman husband.
It was the first Sunday of the month and as their ritual, Mehbeer received a Skype call. It was Niyati beeming at them with her ever so beautiful smile.
"You know you are glowing..." Abeer said as soon as he received the call.
Meher glared at him and niyati giggled.
"How are you guys...?? And what about others...??" She asked.
"Everything is great... Where is arjun.??" Meher asked.
"Ohh... He is cooking right there..." Niyati said and turned the laptop towards arjun who was showing his 'masterchef' skills in the kitchen. Arjun smiled at them and waved his hand at them.
"Lucky you... That's so sweet..." Meher squealed.
"Ohh hello I also cook for you..." Abeer told meher as a matter of fact.
"Always jealous..." Arjun commented and sat beside niyati.
Niyati and meher giggled again.
"By the way I have a news to tell you guys..." Arjun said stuffing niyati mouth with a blueberry cupcake he made.
"What...??" Abeer asked.
"Are you both getting married...??" Meher walked excitedly.
Before arjun could reply, niyati nodded her head in a yes.
"Woww... Congratulations... And dude you... Better take care of her..." Abeer told arjun.
"Why do you sound like a protective elder brother...?" Arjun teased abeer.
"Haha... Shut up..." replied abeer.
While the girls controlled their giggling.
"Abeer abeer... Mom wants you both to join us asap... You will come na...??" Niyati asked.
"For sure darling... By the how is aunty and uncle smith...??" Abeer asked.
"Ohh they are so in love... Right arjun...??" Niyati answered and asked arjun for his opinion.
"Yes they are guys... And honesty if it wasn't their love story as an example in front of us, this girl beside me would have given up on us a long time back..." said arjun.
"Ya ya... But who knew that he was fooling me all the time... I thought he really moved on..." Niyati pouted.
"See I told you na... I won the bet... I told you na that the way he looks at you is the same way we both looked at each other... Some love stories are meant to happen... Eternal love stories..." Meher told niyati while side hugging abeer.
"True... We are meant to happen..." They said in unison.
