19.8.15- Vignettes from the episode

Currently Abeer is seriously trying bring out the true feelings in Meher's heart, trying to bring it out from hiding both for his pleasure as well as for making it a STATEMENT, something that can give him the consent to DO something in the present equation, he maybe trying to hide everything in his mischief but somewhere deep down his heart really yearns to hear those words from her, the words he ended up teasing her with "Kya tumhe lag raha hai ki humne alag hoke galti kardi?"

Yup clearly Abeer just wants Meher back in his life by hook or crook. He just wants to bask in her presence. ❤️

I think over the next few days Abeer and Meher will get closer... Meher will slowly start to open her heart to him again but it will all go to hell with the Tunnu drama.

Somewhere Abeer has to find out what Meher has been hiding. Meher is still really hurt by what happened. Abeer just cares about whether Meher loves him or not. But Meher knows a relationship is about more than love... she feels a deep sense of betrayal and abandonment by him. So even if she realizes Abeer still loves her-- she won't let go the past hurt easily.

I agree Abeer wants Meher's attention & all the care he can get from her & wants her back in life as she makes it complete. He still misses her presence in his life and it's so obvious. Don't think he's been leaving a chance to say that she's his biwi.

I really wonder what Meher's hiding from Abeer, maybe if Abeer knew then things wouldn't have gotten worse, he might have understood her better & Kuber surely has played a big role .. how confidently he was saying I'm not going to let both of them come together and that she sold her relationship for money. Hopefully things will change between them for the better after tunnu track & Meher realises that Abeer still cares & loves as much as he did before.

I too thoroughly enjoyed the episode for the humour and further glimpses of Meher and Abeer's profound connection.

The truth, as Meher has said, is that Abeer is willing to point fingers at others but not willing to introspect and find out what is going on in his own heart. That's always been his biggest flaw, from what we know so far. He is so obviously flirting with her and goading her to say that she cares about him, but in the process he is revealing nothing to her in turn, which puts her in a very vulnerable position if she were to give any hint of her true feelings. Why would she take such a huge risk with her heart when she has no idea what his true intentions are, and how is she supposed to know when even he doesn't? As audience we can see that deep down Abeer craves Meher's love just as Meher craves Abeer's love but barring the way they act when the other is in danger, there has been no unquestionable sign, from either side that is the case.

It's probably not news to Meher that Abeer can be an absolute sweetheart and a hero who would risk his life for someone in danger. I mean the girl did fall hard and marry the lovable fellow, and she knows him better than anyone! It's almost like she is expecting these endearing acts but steeling herself against all his charms this time. This indicates that from her perspective, there is some negative we don't know about that outweighs all the positives, even the fact that she loves him. Until those issues are addressed, I don't think Meher will allow herself to indulge any attraction to Abeer, no matter how strong, and Abeer won't get past this ambiguous joking phase.

Aside: I feel like I am the only person kind of enjoying the Rati-Nissar angle. I like that it's not a straightforward love story, and that there are all these shady elements. Rati, instead of suffering silently, out-vamps the vamp... which makes her damn interesting, if not obviously positive. And I also thought Nissar's anger was justified today. Those guys were using some pretty disrespectful, sexist language 🤢 and even if it had nothing to do with him, I feel like our guardian-of-tameez would have gotten just as hot under the collar!
