I did not expect...

• That the makers would actually understand and respect the basic characterisation of their leads and maintain its integrity this far.

• That the makers would actually depict the conflict of responsibility vs love. Its not a new theme actually. We have seen many shows/movies where nerdy girl falls for the cool dude of college. But as soon as the cupid strikes, studies, responsibilites etc are conveniently forgotten. This is the first time I am seeing a character struggling between the priorities of life, the most common dilemma that students face in college life.

• That the conflicting personalities of leads would not be just a prop for cliched fights or romance, but they would actually have substance, justification and logic backing their behaviour.

• That besides the love story I would get to see such genuine, precious and unique bond as shared among Mehar, her Mother and her Bua.

Frankly from the promos I just expected it to be another shallow, superficial love story which wouldnt keep me engaged after 1-2 weeks and would never progress beyond the cliches. What I did not expect was:

I mean all I thought about flash back was Girl will fall for boy , but didn't think her to be irresponsible , but here makers impressed me showing mehers struggle to put a check to her sprouting feelings , simply not jumping into their Romance and all.

I am totally happy that I came across this show. It's show turned as a pleasant surprise , atleast so far 😆
