welcome to the forum first😃

n yes BD is very close to reality. Thanks to cv's they have maintained the original storyline and also the character sketches are beautiful and realistic! no dramas rather one can easily connect to esp today's youth.❤️ MehBeer of course is the spotlight❤️

I am totally happy that I came across this show. It's show turned as a pleasant surprise , atleast so far😆

Ikr... the show has been a pleasant surprise. We all know that she would fall for Abeer eventually, but its so nice to see her battling with herself over this issue. Just a small scene, but it went a long way in establishing the sincerity of Mehars character as well as providing a good base to MehBeers love story.

I love the small details in the show which they focus on... The story which they have thought of before starting the show.. not like many shows which buildd excitement but than just kill it off.. by showing somethign stupid.

The creatives of the show are really good hope it stays like this in the future :)

Hai Na! Thats exactly what sets this show apart...the focus on small details... Mehars monologue was just 5 minute long. But those 5 minutes lent so much credibilty and genuineness to Mehars character as well as Mehbeers love story. I kept wondering how and why a girl like Mehar would fall for a guy like Abeer. This scene showed me why. Because he gave her the chance to be her true self. Such small things make a big difference to the overall connect of the show and characters and I am glad that they are getting it right so far.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Though I have made a topic before, but yes I generally post less in the forum, so a welcome is always welcome😊

Yup the story is very realistic and moreover they have kept it relatable by not showing OTT drama and yet at the same time exploring the various layers of their characters. MehBeer is of course the highlight and Pearl and Asmita are doing a commendable job.

You definitely hit the mark with this post. 👏👍🏼

These are the exact reasons I am still with the show. Really. Because you know how Indian serials are and tend to become like. So far, they've been doing justice to their characters, but I want to see more still. I know it's going to take time and I'm waiting to see what will happen.

I really love Meher's character. The dilemma, her answers, pretty much everything. ❤️

And Abeer. I love the guy too, but I just want that immaturity to get somewhere honestly. I want to see more maturity on his side, in some cases, his expressions are just so spot on. Like for a good thirty seconds, I get a glimpse of what I want to see. I really hope to see greater development in his character, and not just him, but in Meher as well.

I'm hopeful as of now with this show.

Even I was not impressed with first promo at all, wasnt even planning to watch it. But then I stumbled upon an article in IF about how this show oscillates between the love story of leads in the past and their bitter relationship in present. The concept sounded somewhat new and I was mildly curious. So I decided to give it a try for 1-2 weeks if it remained tolerable😆. But they kept maintaining the quality of the show and consistency in leads characterisations, and kept giving me reason to come back and surprised me pleasantly most of the times.

Thank you!
Yup so far they have done complete justice to characters and storyline. I think most of us were very apprehensive about the show thanks to the way generally romantic shows turn out to be. but CVs have surprised us every time and now I have actually started trusting them so I am looking forward to how they take the show from here.
Mehars character is my fav. So real, strong and relatable. The best female character on Indian TV in a long, long time... And yes I have started understanding Abeer more and more. There was a brief time during the party track when he publically manhandled Mehar that I was getting irritated with him. But thankfully CVs didnt let it go too far. And off late we are witnessing different facets of his personality which make him very human. I also feel that Pearl has improved a lot acting wise too esp in this track. Good to see his progress as an actor.
All in all it has been a very pleasant journry so faar with this show and looking forward to more😊
