I feel like I am watching Vikram & Vetal story, Vikram being Bajirao and Mastani the Vetal who almost seems to be invisibly sitting on his shoulders ALL THE TIME 🤢

I am getting SICK of watching Mastani SHOVED unnecessarily in every scene of Bajirao Kashi. What was the need of Mastani in rain in Bajirao Kashi scene?

PH and cvs are distorting history by forcing Mastani in PB - 8 - EIGHT years ahead of time. We all know Bajirao Mastani but there was Bajirao Kashi before this and it is injustice to both Bajirao and Kashi characters. Bajirao is turned into a fool - an 18-19 year old youngster ignoring his pretty wife for some unknown woman singer and mooning over her!

This PB Bajirao behaves as if HE is the virginal bride in presence of Kashi!

I thoroughly enjoyed the temple scene and Bajirao stance about Devdasi pratha. Some super dialogues there - which I almost missed because I was so irritated with Mastani rain scene I almost changed channel.

PH and Sony you promised viewers Peshwa Bajirao and his political and warrior side, don't shove Mastani 8 years ahead into story.

Mastani is super boring AND I am not even talking about Mastani character and actor!

Please dump Mastani for atleast one year, remember this is Peshwa Bajirao NOT Bajirao-Mastani 😡

From the whole show , I am only not liking Mastani track , I mean ... this early ? 🤢

Though Ishita said that Bajirao will gradually develop love for Kashibai as he isn't able to understand or you can say , he is not able to express , he don't know how to react on Kashibai...But soon it will happen ... Still , I am not able to tolerate that Mastani 🤢

The show makers should have introduced her after Bajirao becomes Peshwa and have a son Nana with Kashibai ... Almost after 8 years... But the show makers are in absolute hurry .. 😕

Both Karan and Ishita are perfect as Bajirao and Kashibai respectively...😃 👏 ⭐️

I want that the show focus on Baji Kashi more than bringing in Mastani so sooon.. 😳

They looks so good with each other and in Friday's episode , the song Mann Darbaari was a visual treat... ❤️ ⭐️

I only loved how Bajirao stances Devdaasi Pratha 👏 and acknowledges the girl as his sister 👏 ... His reply to pandit made me go 👏 🤣 👍🏼

Precap : *ChudailKumud* is back 🤢

Though, I loved how Bajirao stands for his friend who is like his brother 😃 👏

This is where I agree with you.Mastani is not needed at this point now.At this point Baji is not even Peshwa Bajirao.

Even in the movie,they had shown us a brief recap about Baji's achievements and how he had established himself as Peshwa Bajirao.It took 10 years for him to become the most powerful and successful man in the history of Maratha Samrajya after Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Everything said and done I didn't sign up for any love story.Be it Kashi-Bajirao or Bajirao-Mastani.When the show began I wanted to see the political and military aspects of Bajirao's life.Bajirao was one of the most intelligent and badass military generals ever.I wanted them to explore that side.

His relationship with Kashibai which was one of the most integral parts of his personal life should have been explored as well.

Mastani entered his life at a later stage.So this is absolutely the wrong time for her entry.

Apart from that I don't have any problem with the character or the actress provided they don't turn Mastani into the stalker which was shown in the movie.

I am here to see Bajirao,the leader,politician and military strategist.Not Bajirao the eternal Aashiq,Devdas or Amar Premi.Be it for Kashi or Mastani.

I too can't tolerate this Mastani being shown in almost every Baji-Kashi scenes. Actually the main agenda in showing these stuffs is to draw the similarities between Baji and Mastani like both liking to sleep in the ground, both love to become wet in the rain blah blah blah...And how Baji and Kashi are different from each other- this agenda of CVs is running right from the day of her entry in PB. Arrogant and spoilt brat she had been shown in the beginning days, then in the last two days before leap, her character had been remodeled to a good proper shape. And, now again the evil maasi Kumud will be back tomorrow to increase my irritation level, as if Mastani was less.
Now coming to the temple scene, it was really good and I've completely loved the scene, how Baji stands for the girl who is not willing to become Devdasi was too good- this scene only gave me a glimpse of the young Baji and the old PB days, good dialogues, good expressions of Baji everything was bang on and that Purohit reminded me of that Pandit in Saswad who was always against Baji and Radhabai, only Bhalu was missing. Baji said if Devdasi pratha is so respectable, why don't the wealthy family consider their girls to be the one, why only girls are taken from the poor families and moreover the girl is not brought here on her wish, nor her family's. And I liked when Baji said "jab Baji ka kisi cheez mein apatti hota hai tab uska bipaati aa jata hai!! " And her parents must go and educate the girl as by educating a girl, more generations and society become educated. And the loveliest part was when Baji said that the moment that girl came to him for help, she became his relative, she became his sister.

I don't know if anyone here has seen it or not but there was this historical drama on EPIC channel called Siyasat which was based on Indu Sundaresan's novels.

It was about the journey of Prince Salim to Jahangir and of Mehrunissa to Noor Jahan.

That show did not force Salim in Mehrunissa's scenes or vice versa.Both of their journeys were shown parallelly till they intersected with each other at different points in their lives.

Above all more than the love story it focussed on the political intrigue and strategies in the Mughal Court.Salim vs Abu Fazl,Salim's struggle for power,Salim and his father's strained relationship,Salim and Jagat Gosini,etc were beautifully depicted.

Above all they didn't turn Salim into some demigod because it was his show.His flaws and mistakes were shown too.

Why can't we have something like that for Bajirao instead of showing him as a lovesick fool 24/7?? A show can run without romance.

BTW guys,is it only me or has anyone else too noticed the inconsistencies in Baji's character??😕

Just a few episodes ago,he was telling Gotya about how love is not meant for him,he is married to his mission etc.

Now he is behaving like a die hard romantic and preaching about love and the power of love etc😕 This is highly confusing.

But I really enjoyed that scene in which he shows the priest his place👏

Hopefully we will get more scenes like these and his interactions with Shahu Maharaj,Panth Pratinidhi etc.

I am so surprised at this, how can Baji Kashi be almost strangers?! They have practically been raised together. If at all there should be easy friendship atleast between them. Preleap episode was Baji Kashi accepting each other, she his warrior side and he - her presence and right on him. Didn't Baji promise Kashi he will always come back to her? So this slow acceptance just doesn't fit.

Really Bhiu is younger than Kashi and they are talking about her child and Baji Kashi are still strangers?! I think this has to do with the obsession of soap writers with stretching consummation scene!

I agree, today's Baji Kashi scene was really sweet, one can totally get his bindhast nature and her traditional aware of keeping appearances nature. I was absolutely disgusted when Mastani was shoved in rain 😡

Agree with you completely. This is the reason I too watch PB, I have loved Baji's journey so far and that was without any Prem Gatha. We had absolutely magical Balaji Radhabai bond.

I want to watch Baji journey become Peshwa, his warrior side, his victories.

I wasn't interested in Kashi or Mastani, but must say Kashi is growing on me, credit to the actor. I can't say the same about Mastani, this or now is not time for her, Mastani is spoiling it for me.
