I am perplexed. What kind of Rajamandi Raj and his mom want from Raj's dad. He has already spoken and told his veiws. I think they are now waiting for him to break down and accept their decision. If they want true rajamandi as Raj's mom keeps saying then they should accept what he has said and go home.

here i find a husband supporting his wife decision and ready to walk alongside her instead of the other way round as joru ka gulam, that guy is the age of our own dads, we cry for women liberation but we woman ourselves start criticising when we see it. We all support big morchas for equal rights for women and then we instead of supporting it in real life criticise it.

on the other hand is a husband who after sending his son and wife to such a show format in front of all the world is showing that he does not trust his wife to have made a good choice for his family. After spending half my life in that house made to realise that i will make a decision which will not be right for my family wld have completely shattered me. I just hope rajs dad comes soon and accepts pri coz his this behaviour hurts rajs mom self respect. Its indirectly telling her that she has not understood his family values even after spending all this time in that house.

In India women do play this manipulative game. They keep saying that they listen to their husband and his opinion matter and really do what they want to do without listening to the husband. The similar game is being played by Raj and his mom. They both are holding on and announcing on national tv that they both like Pri but Dad should come around. Raj's dad doesn't have hope in hell to have his way. Both mother and son have created this big public drama, Raj's dad is being forced to accept Pri..poor fellow in my opinion has no choice..he is being made out a villian (the one who doesn't want Pri and Raj to marry) on national tv.

Raj and his mom have come back on the show are announcing this on national tv. I find both of them very manipulative. This kind of stuff should be solved at home within family without naming the parent who has problem on national tv.

We should not jumpto conclutions about an elderly woman calling her manipulative etc. We still dont know what issues Raj's dad has about Priyanka, it might be something they want to proove that he is wrong in his openion. So until and unless we know what is the true picture we should avoid calling names to people of our mother's age.

From what I could tell, Hitesh's dad and mom seem to have a great understanding and his dad even said that he had confidence in his wife to select their future DIL. Yeah I agree it would be important to consult him before committing, but if the couple have faith in each other, i did not see a problem with Hitesh's mom making a commitment.

In Pribir's case, Although Raj & his mom are almost committed to Priyanka, they still seem unsure about his dad and claim that they won't do anything without his dad's consent. What is the guaranty that his dad will agree. I think the attachment that they are forming with Priyanka may not be too good for Priyanka. Priyanka being an emotional person will find it very difficult. Either Raj should go ahead and marry her (dad has told him to do what he wants) or keep a bit of emotion distance from Priyanka.

I agree with you on this. If I believe in what is shown I guess as Raj said, that from a total no his dad has come some way and he is expecting him to give his consent finally somehow. Yes, but the way they are attached, it would be tougher for Priyanka to come out if somehow this relationship does not culminate to marriage.

See, Raj is going by the hope that his dad will be convinced. When Raj was eliminated, he had weeks to convince him and couldn't. I think his dad knows that Rajbir will not do it if dad is not completely ok. Maybe thats why dad told him to go ahead in he wants. I also think that all the closeness between Pribir that they are showing on TV may not help them but rather turn off his dad even more. Its like dad may think here on one hand is son is trying to be a good son and saying he will not go against his dad and on other hand the couple is shown romancing on the TV. Overall, though I am not too carzy about Pribir, I truly would hate to see Priyanka hurt (especially because she is too emotional)
