I don't understand why Raj's mom likes Vrinda and not Priyanka and as we all saw in today's episode she is trying to get Raj and Vrinda together, why can't she just like who her son likes? Also Yash's mom, why can't she just try to talk to Gurpreet and like her and why is she trying to get him and pooja together? This is all crap according to me, poor Yash didn't want to go with pooja it was evident in the precap. This forceful nature is irritating. My gosh, why are all the moms doing this? Vivek also said his mom likes Pooja not nandita! There is only one Pooja how many guys is she going to marry?😆😆 Do you guys feel the same way??

No I don't. 😊 If the guys pariticipated in the show along with their mom I believe they want parents approval.

For Rajbir --- It really seems as if Rajbir's family really doesn't want Priyanka. They just couldn't point out a reason why they don't want her to be a part of their family. So far from mom and dad they seem like a really nice sincere family. If you noticed from the Avi it seemed as if Raj is something that brings life to their house. To me personally Priyanka comes out all dark and very angry at times. Raj's mom has been drawn to the really happy warm girls Vrinda and Pooja.
For Yash -- I totally get Yash's mom. Out of all the girl Gurpreet is someone who kept saying she doesn't want to change herself. I don't know to what extent she wants to stay herself but Yash's mom really wants a respectful religious girl who can take of her son and family. Gurpreet does act like a child. Yash's mom's feelings are justified. To me Yash also seems as if he is not ready for marriage. Fingers shouldn't be pointed at the girl only.
For Vivek --- His mom is not quite against Nandita as she is educated herself like Nandita. But putting her son with nandita won't be too comfortable and will call for lots of adjusments. Nandita plans to study, she is serious about her career, plus she is not really the girly girl type who cooks and does maji maji all day. Pooja is a much safer comfortable choice.
If they didn't plan to make their moms happy with their marriage choice then they shouldn't have brought them along. And if they are this serious about the girl then they can always disobey their mothers or get out of the show to get married.

I agree with Perfangel here. Apart from her reasons, I also think Rajbir's parents are not in favour of Pri because she does not have parents. I know many families have reservations about such things too. The presence of grown-ups in the girl's family is supposed to be some sort of insurance. If tomorrow something goes wrong, the girl's family is there to set things right. A sister cannot equate to a mother for some. They may consider her too young and immature. They may also not be sure about how Pri was raised by her sister who herself is not much older than Pri. While all these seem ridiculous to many it does matter to some.

I agree to Perfangel to some extent too! But Opti, what you quoted about the girls who dont have parents is not quite true😕. I am a girl like that and happily married into a family which give me credit for being the person I am despite having lost parents early on in life. but you are right, some families do have reservations for guys to get married with a girl like that. My heart really goes out to Pri in that matter, esp since what Pri's sister is to her, similarly my sister is to me. IMO, if something goes wrong the guy and girl should sort ot out between themselves, without involving their respective families. Thats how me and my husband sort out our differences. If everyone thinks like that, all children who dont have parents will remain unmarried. Thats really sad! having parents is purely a matter of destiny. What will happen if after marriage someone loses their parents due to illness or accident? Parents are important in kids life, but parents should not make their kids' life miserable only to satisfy themselves and due to social obligations. Such marriages can never be happy. And if Raj's family is indeed thinking like that then Pri s better off not marrying into such a family.

I am happy that you have a happy life but there are some families which are pretty narrow minded in this regard. I may be wrong in judging Rajbir's family but this is the feeling I got especially when Raj's father said something like "You have everything" to his son. It sounded pretty arrogant to me. The guy is just a graduate in physical education and the father thinks he got everything?

True! some people still live in stone age! They are typical ladka walas, who think that even a 10th class fail guy is too good for any girl😕 by 'everything" he might hav meant 'so called looks', 'dads money'..🤢

moms are being forceful because they care about their sons

having said that, i do feel that yash's mom should at least sit and talk to both yash and gurpreet and tell them what she has in mind...it is not right for yash to lead that girl into believing something that may not happen

she needs to act like beer's mom...she has allowed raj to look for a girl and is also looking herself...in the end both the opinions matter and if yash's mom does not approve if gurpreet, then i dont see that reln going anywhere

I know, typical patriarchal society. In fact to me, daddy's money would be a definite demerit. A guy who lives in his father's glory is not someone whom I can respect. I said the same thing to my hubby when he told me that he comes from an ordinary background. What made him more attractive to me was the fact that he was a self made man. But then to each his/her own. While I dont agree with Pri's choice, I can understand how some girls go all out for looks which is what she seems to be interested in considering she only set her eyes on Yash and Rajbir from the beginning.

I dont think Beer's mom is doing the right thing. She seems to be encouraging Pri by telling ehr what she should wear for her meeting with her son and then goes behind her back and tries to patao Virnda. She could make her displeasure more open and thereby give a clear signal as to where Pri stands with her. No use trying to play goody two shoes especially in matters as serious as this.

True..money passed on from one generation to another cannot be considered as 'your own'. Money earned through your sweat is much more sweeter. Pri and Raj have both been hasty. If raj anticipated trouble from his dad he should have waited before going so farther on..! Yes!in the first episode itself, Pri did show some liking towards Raj and Yash.
