Obviously it's a 10 yrs old boy getting married to 18 yrs old girl ...
According to me other dramas are the same old television TRP tactics 🤓

That would be intent that creatives are trying to project -

a. that true love stands above everything including age and lust.

b. If two people have a connect than they can share the strongest bond irrespective of any factor.

c. And that kids can possess maturity, gravitas and sensibility beyond ages and can grow to succeed in valuing a bond like marriage way more and better than many adults of this millennia.

Remains to be seen if creatives succeed in reflecting these values via this story or they end up messing it with some nonsense.

The story so far is different. very interesting and intriguing. Right now it is very hard to say who is negative and who is positive. I have a feeling Choti thakurain will turn out to be her true friend.
I really like the actor who is acting as Diya's father.

First of all this is not anything about "hot romance" and affairs and such, all of which I find an affront to my sensibilities. The way these two have been put together by fate in a relationship which more often than not degrades into selfish demands of lust, and which is elevated to a sublime and heavenly exchange of pure and undemanding love for each other, this is just magic. They are so deeply attached to each other, each one's presence instantly lights up the other, but a childlike innocence permeates the space between them.

Ratan walks the extra mile to please Diya in his own small way, but the impact it makes on Diya is so huge, she is taken by surprise at his ingenuity for thinking up ways to please her.

And unknown to Ratan, Diya sacrifices her whole life to take up the arduous task of keeping Ratan safe and the frustrations she faces at every step is so moving.

I'm a sucker for odd ball jodis 😆
I didn't even know this show existed until all the hype and controversy surrounding it began.
When I heard the story line about an 18 year old having to marry an 8 year old...Gulaal...a drama I had really loved and enjoyed came to mind. Also, I believe the production house of this show is the same one that put out Diya Aur Baati Hum...which I also enjoyed very much. So I started watching and caught up on all the episodes on YT...and I was hooked. 😃
