Karan jotwani for sure then. The guys is a splendid actor. We have to keep in mind though that even when the boy grows older, he needs to look younger than teja for the age gap to look believable.

But won't he look too old opposite teja, especially considering ratan's character is meant to be much younger than diya, so this won't make sense, will it?

Nahh..googled his pics and I didn't find him appealing at all. I'll go with someone completely new and a fresh face.

Shivin Narang will be my choice. The guy who played grown up Ranvijay in Veera.
He has the innocence of Ratan, very handsome and has a very young look. He can look younger than Diya. Their chemistry will be sizzling I believe. Innocence is the essence of the character of Ratan.

No i dont think so, they can make him younger in style and mannerisms and how they do his hair and so on...

Diya is young looking anyhow... its her features, so any guy they cast opposite her will look abit older coz the actress has such a child like young face.

That's actually quite a lovely choice. I liked him in veera.
