Once the hottest pair on the small screen, Hiten Tejwani (far right) and Gauri Pradhan (right) are set to return on the tube as a couple again. While Gauri made a comeback on TV after five years with an Ekta Kapoor (producer) soap, Tejwani, who recently wrapped up his show Pavitra Rishta, has joined wifey on her show, to play her hubby.

"Yes, finally we'll be acting together again. We've been looking for a good role to be back together, so when Ekta offered me to play Gauri's character Falguni's exhusband Nitin in this show, I thought why not!" says Hiten, who's often been dubbed as one of Kapoor's favourites. In fact, Hiten and Gauri rose to fame with Kapoor's show Kutumb back in 2001, where they fell in love and eventually tied the knot in 2004. Parents to five-year-old twins Neevan and Katya, the duo was last seen together six years back in the cult drama Kyunki... Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. "Gauri has always been a wonderful co-star. It'll definitely be a nostalgia of sorts," says Hiten, who's yet to start shooting but is kicked about his role nevertheless. "So my character is shown having left his wife and daughter Ishani 22 years back. He has come back to make up for his mistake... what he does, how he does it is the story now," says Hiten.
