It makes sense to me at least.

Replies are not accounted the way general tweets are. Firstly, they don't show on the person's main Twitter page. One has to go to Tweets & replies to see them. They also do not show on the Home Page. So even if I am following Sushant, his replies will not show on my Home page. I have favourited Sushant's account on my phone's Twitter app and I only get notifications of his general tweets, not his replies. So my phone would not be buzzing like crazy if he starts chit-chatting with someone on Twitter. One can be a little more discreet with their tweets with replies. So his reply to Anu, for example, will not show to Rajeev Masand unless he himself takes an effort to check his page or search @itSSR. "hahaha yu guys dont sleep or what..??" "i cant , i have insomnia...:-((" were random tweets which probably were not worth highlighting.

My theory about it.

Y'all I just thought he was trying to be funny... like as if he were talking to himself... idk it reminded me of the way he used to joke... or well at least I found it funny... maybe I'm crazy. 😆
