Hello everyone. I would like to thank you all for the response on the last chapter, I hope you all liked it aha, no, loved it and I hope you like this as much. I was very nervous about it and did not know how to go about it after a certain point, which is the main reason for the delay in posting it. And of course I would like to thank Mansi who helped me and encouraged me to post it, threatening me if I would not, she would, so thank you girl!!! I have tried to make it longer than what I had initially planned and I think I succeeded because it is definitely longer than the 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th chapter. I hope you all enjoy it, and without further ado, here goes:

CHAPTER 6

Purvi was sitting on the beautifully decorated bed. The entire room was decorated very nicely with scented candles, flowers, red rose petals, jasmine flowers and pink and white coloured roses. The entire room was looking beautiful. Purvi was sitting on the bed nervously waiting for Arjun as it was their nuptial night.

Arjun was held at the door due to Teju and Purvi's friends who were demanding for money from him so that he could enter his bedroom. Initially he refused in order to tease them but had to give in as they were adamant. After they left, Arjun stood at the door for a while, his hands on the door knob. He too was nervous as it was his and Purvi's first night together. After a while he opened the door and entered inside the room, locking the door of the room.

Hearing the click of the door, Purvi's eyes automatically moved to the door knowing that her Arjun had come and her heart started racing. Arjun took slow steps towards the bed. He sat on the bed and his hands automatically went on to Purvi's veil and he pushed the veil back.

He was awestruck seeing her. She looked absolutely STUNNING. Her gaze was lowered due to shyness, her cheeks a very dark pink probably due to the blusher, the natural blush and the glow on her face. Her lips were a deep red and her eyes looked more refined and bigger. She looked absolutely beautiful and he was mesmerised seeing her in a deep red maroon and cream lehenga. (Purvi had changed her outfit for the SR.)

Purvi looked up to see him. He looked handsome in his cream sherwani and deep maroon dhoti with the scarf hanging around his neck very stylishly. Seeing his reaction on seeing her made her smile. He looked so lost in her, his eyes wide open and a mouth slightly open. He looked so quite cute at the way he was looking at her. She called him to talk to him but he gave no reply. She called him again, yet no reply. She clicked her fingers in front of his eyes and that is when he came out of the daze he was in.

"What happened, where were you lost Arjun?" Purvi asked him once he came out of the trance.

"In you Purvi," said Arjun close to her ear. A chill ran down her spine hearing her reply and feeling his breath on her neck. She clutched the bed- sheet tightly with her one hand due to the nervousness.

"You look beautiful darling. You know the one thing I have always liked about you is your simplicity. You are at your best when you are simple, but today, you look absolutely breath taking honey." She blushed at his compliments and the cute names he called her and the butterflies in her stomach increased.

Her gaze was lowered and Arjun wanted to look in to her eyes, so he holds her chin up because she refused to look up at him and she finally looks in to his eyes. All they could see was love for one another, pure love and admiration.

"Arjun," called out Purvi.

"Yes Mrs. Purvi Arjun Kirloskar," replied Arjun.

Purvi smiled when she heard that. The name sounded so perfect and complete. She finally did become Mrs. Arjun Kirloskar, she finally got married to the love of her life, to the man who loves her unconditionally in spite of everything. She decided to apologise to him as she remembered deciding to ask for his forgiveness.

"Arjun, I am really sorry. I really hurt you by proposing the deal..."

Arjun cut her in between, "Purvi let's not talk about the past and I have already forgiven you. If I had not, I would not be sitting here." He smiled and kissed her palms.

"No Arjun, please let me say what I want to."

He nodded his head and she continued.

"Arjun, seeing the pain in your eyes today made me realise what I had done and the gravity of my mistake. I have never seen you this way Arjun and it killed me seeing you this way. Your love for me has overwhelmed me and it made me realise that what I was going to do was very wrong. I would have ruined 3 lives in the process because you would have never loved Ovi and she would always stay unhappy. I would be equally unhappy staying away from you and you would be angry and sad as well. Thank you Arjun for loving me so much, so much that your love consumes my whole being, thank you for not agreeing to the deal, thank you for re-uniting my parents and thank you for marrying me." She became emotional and hugged him tightly with all her might.

Arjun soothed her by rubbing her back. They were engulfed in a tight and passionate hug that none wanted to come out of, but Arjun had to as he wanted to speak to her.

"Baby, I know you made a mistake, but please do not apologise so much to me. I was angry with you, very angry, but not anymore," Arjun wiped the tears on Purvi's cheeks with his fingers.

"Everyone makes mistakes, I have made them too. Do you remember the time I got engaged to Ovi and did not tell anyone about my love for you, you forgave me after that didn't you? Then how can I not forgive you my love? When I loved you, I did not have any conditions that you will be perfect and make no mistakes. We all make mistakes and learn from them. The problem arises when we do not learn from our mistakes, but you did and you already apologised yeah, then not again. Okay baby?"

Fresh tears rolled down Purvi's cheeks after listening to him. He leaned in to kiss them away. He then kissed her on her forehead and then her cheeks. After doing so, he whispered in her ear, "Do not say someone will see us, no one will. And anyways, tonight is our night, the first night after our wedding." Purvi blushed a crimson red hearing him and her breathing got heavy.

After that he leaned in to kiss her lips and Purvi blushed and embraced Arjun tightly. He in the meanwhile started taking off her jewellery starting with her necklace and placing soft kisses on her neck. With each ornament he took off, his kisses increased. He slowly untied the dori of her blouse after taking off the heavy dupatta. The lights and candles in the room got switched off.

The following morning (early in the morning), Arjun woke up first. A sweet smile played on his lips when he saw Purvi in his arms. He looked at her lovingly and kissed her on her forehead due to which she stirred in her sleep. Afraid to wake his peacefully sleeping wife up, he made himself comfortable next to her hugging her tightly and going back in to his dream land weaving dreams for their future together.

When he woke up next, it was already past 8. Realising how late they are, he decided to get dressed quickly. After coming out of the bathroom, he saw Purvi was already awake waiting for him with a cup of tea in her hand. They looked at each other and gave a shy smile to each other. Purvi offered him the cup and decided to go and get dressed.

While Purvi was getting dressed, Arjun went downstairs and was told by DK that Purvi has to go to her parents' house for the ritual (grah pravesh) and then he will have to pick her up in the evening. He frowned after he heard that. He wanted to spend the day with her. It was the first day after their marriage and he had planned the whole day, but now he could not even do that. But he knew how much important all these rituals were to his wife, so he made another plan. He also had to plan for his honeymoon. He smiled at that. And thanked God for making the marriage to happen. He got married to the love of his life; a girl who was beautiful from the inside and the outside. He always took marriage as a compromise. He had never seen his parents' marriage properly and neither had he seen Manav's marriage to make him comprehend love and the sanctity of marriage. But he was glad he fell in love with Purvi.

Arjun went upstairs to call Purvi for breakfast. When he went to the room, he saw that she was struggling to tie the ribbon of her blouse. He was mesmerised seeing her from the mirror. She looked beautiful in a pink sari and her hair was still a bit wet. She looked stunning without any make up on her face. She saw him looking at her from the mirror and felt shy. For a moment, her gaze met his, but she broke the eye contact as she was feeling shy.

"Should I help?" He asked.

"Umm,..." Purvi was feeling shy but finally agreed, "yes."

He smiled seeing her reaction. And he walked towards her. Her back was facing him. He has a naughty smile on his face. He holds the doris in his hands and using that, pulls her closer to himself minimising the already short distance. She could feel his breath on her neck and the hair on her back rose. He tied the doris while she kept fumbling with her hands.

After he tied the doris, his hands trail down her arms and he pulls her palms such that they were on her sides now (initially she was fumbling with them). He then intertwines their hands. He bends down and kisses her on her neck. Purvi's eyes close automatically and the grip of their hands tightens. They were both experiencing and enjoying the love of one another. Arjun then turns her around by holding her shoulders. She is blushing red and her eyes are looking down. He pulls her closer and kisses her on her forehead. He then leans in to kiss her on her lips. They could feel each other's breath on their faces, they were centimetres away, when Purvi decides to be naughty and tries to run away. But Arjun was too fast for her. He stops her from going by pulling her arm and then brings her closer to him.

Purvi's breathing gets heavier and she is blushing furiously. Arjun smirks seeing her reaction and leans down for a kiss. Their lips are almost touching when, "Arjun!"

Arjun and Purvi look at each other. Purvi smiled naughtily while Arjun frowns. "I can't even romance with my own wife without being disturbed! Huff!"

Purvi smiled at his reaction. He was so cute and she was blessed to be married to him. The guy who loved her so much, would do anything for her, cared for her like a princess and now like a queen, for whom she meant the world. She had always dreamt of getting married to such a guy but knew somewhere in her heart that it is not possible to be married to someone like him, but God sent him for her. She truly felt blessed to be his.

"Go, dad is calling you," and she winks at him with a cheeky smile playing on her lips.

He looks at her and pulls her closer, then whispers in her ear, "wait and watch madam, how I take revenge for this." He kisses her on her ear and leaves the room while she is still in a trance.

END OF FLASHBACK

PRESENT

"Purvi dear!"

Purvi was called due to which she came out of her past, the most beautiful times of her life. As Purvi sat on her bed recalling her wedding day and the morning after, tears rolled down her cheeks. She had Arjun's photograph in her hand and looking at it she asked,

"Where are you Arjun? Please come back to me. I miss you my love, I really do. I love you more than my life, and I cannot live without you. It is very difficult, please come back Arjun, please do for my sake, for the sake of our love." She broke down after that.
