..Hold on a minute. 😆 Basically, you can do whatever you want, whether that's violating your values, hanging around men like Chadda, interfering your ex husbands life even though he told you to stay away.. as long as your daughter is not witnessing this?
These 20 + kids are Indian kids, correct? 😆 I'm born and brought up in Canada but I do have values and beliefs that my parents gave me.. If my mother was in India while I'm in Canada, drinking and dancing with random men to get my father jealous.. (the father who has made it clear that he's happy with Ovi).. I, personally, would be very disappointed with her. Purvi is a great role model. 😃
I'm sorry but I'm pretty sure Ovi is more than a hospital nurse to Arjun. He doesn't have a child with any of the hospital nurses and he didn't grow up with any of them either. 😆 Neither did he call them, begging for them to come to him and help him with his personal life..
I'm not saying she can't change her mind. But changing your mind about eating an apple instead of a banana is normal.. But changing your mind about your values is permissible? That's a whole different matter.. Would Archana have approved? Is that any way to prove that your ex husband still loves you?
Ekta seems to be a little too modernised. 😆
How many times has it been stated that Purvi was FORCED to dance with Chadda? At least once, that's for sure. She was reusing to dance with him.
Arjun did say that he was happy with Ovi, but that was the day AFTER he was CRYING and saying that he can't live without Purvi. AFTER Purvi went to the house, and talked to the housekeeper who said that she has no idea who Ovi is, and that Arjun's wife is in Canada. AFTER she heard and saw enough facts to completely contradict Arjun's love profession for Ovi. Any normal person in love would surely doubt Arjun as Purvi does.
I was born and raised in America, and I have traditional Indian values as well. However some points are futile. A child does not need to know everything that goes on between their parents. Those are lover's quarrels which the children do not even need to be a part of. However, to the above point,... if my mother was in India, while I was in Canada, and I found out that my mother was FORCED to dance with someone that she didn't want to, just to keep a professional face. I would be proud of her. Because, out of all the people she danced with, she NEVER asked them to dance, she was asked.
If I was in Purvi's shoes, I would come up with any excuse, even bring up my values, if a creepy man was PUSHING/FORCING a glass of alcohol into my hands. So I agree with what she did. Even if she says her values keep her from drinking, ANY PERSON REGARDLESS OF AGE do things out of their normalcy, because of jealousy. That's why it's called the "green monster".
I do not like to continue to post to keep an argument going, but it sometimes gets a little frustrating that there are some that watch the show with rose colored glasses, or even blindfolds. This was not specifically meant for the above post, as I mean no harm. The same things get said over and over again. It's like beating your head against a brick wall. I prefer to keep my head intact. 😆
Ankita did so many things similar to Purvi but Ankita did not get bashed. Yet when Purvi did these things she get pages and pages of bashes. Calling her things like "mahaan Purvi" with a negative tone. Which proves my point, it's Purvi people hate/ are jealous of..., whatever.. not her actions.
